Golf Ball is a major character in the animated web series and reality internet show Battle for Dream Island.
As her name suggests, she is a sapient Golf Ball. She is often portrayed to be very intelligent and also somewhat serves as an authority figure when competing in the show.
Golf Ball is obsessed with succession and planning. Whatever team is made, Golf Ball will always put herself onto positions of leadership. She can be very demanding and most likely will get angry if her team fails to live up to her expectations. This might result in loss or even homicide. As such, she serves an villainous role in many episodes of the show.
She is voiced by the series co-creator Michael Huang, who has also voiced Blocky, Four, Pencil, Flower, Snowball, Puffball, Flower Speaker Box, ETC.
Appearance[]
Golf Ball is a white colored Golf ball with light gray dimples. Her facial features and legs are a solid black. She does not have arms.
In the first 3 seasons, Golf Ball uses BFDI assets, but has more drawn features onward from Battle for B.F.D.I.
Personality[]
Golf Ball is very bossy and expects others to follow her orders whether a challenge is happening or not. When she is on a team, She see's herself as a leader and will insert herself onto the position on whatever team she is on. Golf Ball has made many enemies because of her attitude and views mostly everyone as a mutual or a tool for succession.
Golf Ball can sometimes be nice to people. She is best friends with Tennis Ball and has made bonds with TV, Rocky, Firey, Puffball and many more. These moments are rare though.
Golf Ball's defining trait is her intelligence. She will say something nerdy or state that her chances of winning have gone up. Golf Ball has also made many inventions and even owns an underground factory, which helps her team to victory.
Biography[]
Prior to Battle for Dream Island, Golf Ball has written a Book titled: The Book of BFDI Tips and Tricks. She is 6 years old according to the book.
Battle for Dream Island[]
Golf Ball is first seen criticizing Firey, Coiny, and Spongy. When the show starts, Golf Ball fails the first challenge and is picked to join the team that will soon be known as the Squashy Grapes. She and the rest of the grapes are triumphant in most of the upcoming contests up until the team splits. Golf Ball becomes the leader of the new team and a few contestants joined it, however she would be eliminated shortly after the formation of the team and is sent to the Tiny Loser Chamber.
Golf Ball would be locked away until "BFDI 25 Return of the Hang Glider". She is released and votes for a finalist to win the season, in which she chose Leafy. Firey wins the season and obtains Dream Island, Golf Ball is let into the island along with most of the other contestants. Leafy who was not let on the island steals it and Golf Ball quickly catches on to what happened. She and many other contestants try to execute her until Firey saves Leafy.
Battle for Dream Island Again[]
Golf Ball and several other contestants chase Leafy to a Forest where she transports herself to Yoyleland. Golf Ball and the other contestants are back at the showgrounds starting another competition. Golf Ball does not make it into the cast at first, but is picked by user InternPony707. Golf Ball then becomes the leader of Team No Name.
The Team starts off being very large, but eventually dwindles to only having Golf Ball, Tennis Ball, Firey, Puffball, Gelatin, Fries, and Rocky left on the team over the span of the season. Golf Ball goes through many challenges like making a stew, killing bugs, and climbing the YoyleNeedle. She would even get trapped inside Evil Leafy along with Tennis Ball, Rocky, and Team Freesmart. The season abruptly ends after BFDIA 5e.
Island Dream for Battle[]
Golf Ball and Tennis Ball enter a Science Museum in Yoylecity and take a Wall teleporter. Golf Ball undergoes an episode while inside about a presumed earlier version of herself named Bozo. Golf Ball and Tennis Ball leave the building and run into Fries, Pin, and Coiny. Tennis Ball informs that the Wall teleporter can free contestants from the Tiny Loser chamber. Pin and Coiny go with them and charge the Wall teleporter up.
Battle for B.F.D.I[]
All of the contestants in the Tiny Loser chamber are outside, meaning Golf Ball and Tennis Ball had freed everyone during IDFB and BFB. Golf Ball also changes art style in this season. New contestants also appear this season.
Golf Ball starts the season off by looking for Leafy, possibly for her past actions. New hosts, Four and X show up, they begin a new season of the show and offer a B.F.D.I as a prize. Golf Ball teams up with Tennis Ball, Basketball, 8-Ball, TV, Blocky, Robot Flower, and Grassy. Golf Ball of course, puts herself into a position of authority. Forming "A better name than that".
Golf Ball however mistreating the team, causing everyone on it to turn to 8-ball as a leader. Golf Ball and 8-Ball have an arc on trying to be the better leader on the team as no one is listening to Golf Ball and even tried to get her eliminated. 8-ball does eventually make up with Golf Ball, but everyone else still has their backs turned against her. Golf Ball and the rest of the "Better Namers" carry out a plan to get rid of Four. They run into Donut and X before hitting Four.
Four is absent from the series until episode 10. "A Better Name than That" and BLEH go to the moon using Golf Ball's rocket ship to during BFB 6-8. 8-Ball gets eliminated and gets crushed by the moon. Golf Ball becomes the leader of the team again, and does well in the upcoming challenges.
Golf Ball would leave BFB when Two arrives. She does not trust him at first, but eventually switches to TPOT, wanting limitless power.
The Power of Two[]
Golf Ball uses her genius to help Two figure out how many contestants should be apart of the show after the total cast equals to a prime number. She then forms another team with herself, Tennis Ball, Puffball, Fries, Pen, TV, and, Eraser. She would then try to make the team name, screwing up yet again after it gets named "Are You Okay".
Golf Ball and her team must now try to get on top of a building in order to complete the first challenge, This was accomplished using Tennis Ball's trebuchet. The team does well and places first in the competition, preventing Golf Ball from being up for elimination.

- Bubble: Popped indirectly, happened twice on different occasions.
- Book: Indirectly Cooked in the Oven-0-Tron along with the Vat of Dream Sauce.
- Fries: Burned in the incinerator in Golf Ball's Underground Factory after Golf Ball kicks him off the staircase.
- Gelatin: Burned in the incinerator after being questioning Golf Ball on why she even has one.
- Four: Golf Ball and the rest of "A Better Name Than That" shove Donut and X into Four using a sled, causing him to become a factor of zero.
- Pencil: Burnt in the incinerator after Golf Ball orders Tennis Ball to toss her in there. Although he was the one who killed her, Golf Ball was the one at fault for her death.
- Bomby: Blown up to sabotage Just Not.
- Barf Bag: Used her vomit to create a cure to fight against the undead zombie hoard in "Outbreak at Stake".
- Snare Drum: Killed amongst the other recommended characters in the theater.
- Numerous recommended characters: Poisoned after Golf Ball indirectly threw bugs at rival teams while in a theatre.
- Bugs: Crushed after Golf Ball steps on them.
List of Inventions[]
- Golf Ball's underground factory: First seen in "Zeeky Boogy Doog", Golf Ball uses it to make another Dream Island. Since the factory is underground, stairs are used to get inside. The factory also consists of an incinerator with a safety net, the Oven-0-Tron 2000, a scissor lift, a vat of Dream Sauce, and a built in security system. It is unknown how Golf Ball got ahold of the factory.
- Dream Sauce: A liquid used to make a copy of Dream Island. Golf Ball and her team inserts it inside of the Oven-0-Tron 2000 (and also killed book who was in the sauce), poured it out, and made the island itself after they baked it. Dream Island however gets destroyed by Woah Bunch after they send Bomby to blow it up.
- Oven-0-Tron 2000: Used in combination with the Dream Sauce, it bakes the vat itself and also Book to make another Dream Island. It is seen again in the background of BFB 14.
- Rocket: A blue rocket ship with a satellite dish. Used in BFB 6 by "A Better Name Than That" and BLEH to escape "The Twinkle of contagion". The rocket lands on the moon, but breaks later in the episode, trapping both teams on the moon. The satellite dish is used by the teams to hijack remote, and was also used as chip dip in BFB 7. The rockets latest appearance was in BFB 13. An emerald must be found, so Golf Ball instructs Robot Flower to retrieve the rocket, then using Blocky to rotate the satellite dish to dig. The rocket is soon abandoned.
- M.M.R: Acronym for Mutual Mind Reader, its intent is to read the mind of other people and gain information. Whoever it is used upon also gains a thought from the user. Golf Ball gives a demonstration to Blocky by testing it out on Cloudy, Saw, and Bell. Tennis Ball then uses it on X to find the location of an emerald. He gets the coordinates, but also insults him in the process.
- Brainwave: Brings an idea from someone's mind into reality, but results are varied depending on how complex it is. It was used to make a Rollercoaster.
- Bracelets: Golf Ball made these after being commissioned by Two. When put on, the bracelets will teleport the individual wearing it to a specific biome. The biome is dependent on the color of the bracelet. If the Bracelet were to be taken off or destroyed, the wearer will return to the location they were prior to putting it on. They were used by all seven teams to protect flowers found in different locations and again by The Strongest Team On Earth to obtain a YoyleBerry in Yoyleland.
- Robotic Fish Monster: A vehicle similar to a Submarine. It was built to retrieve a plate that fell into the Goiky canal. The Strongest Team On Earth stole it from Golf Ball and stole her strategy, leaving her to use the Breathing Bubbles made by Basketball. It was destroyed after Robot Flower and TV sabotaged it.
- Shrink-A-Tron: A device used to shrink people down to a small size. The device however does not have a reverse function.
