Golgotha Takobee is the main antagonist and final boss of Parodius Da!.
Biography[]
He is a giant octopus suspended from the ceiling and ground by his tentacles holding on to metal pipes, (which are his weakpoints). He is said to be the universal source of all evil, which kinda makes him the devil in the parodius universe. He is the father of Tako, the series' protagonist, and is behind all the badguys attacking Earth, his mere presence causing people to lose their hopes and dreams and idle away at futile activities. His true objectives are unknown.
Appearance[]
As stated above, he is a giant octopus with a cartoony look. He has a bulbous jiggling head with two popped veins above his eyes that at first glance could be mistaken for horns or eyebrows. He has two unfocused eyes and a funnel mouth, (a funnel mouth is common for anime styled octopi).
Trivia[]

- If you wait long enough he'll just die. this is common with Gradius bosses.
- In the Gameboy version, after you go through the closing gate, you have to go through a long corridor before you see him, as opposed to the arcade where he is right on the otherside.
- Also in the Gameboy, he is far enough to the edge where you can't go behind him.
- He is a parody of the final boss in the first Gradius game, the Xaerous Brain.
- When you reach him, in a deep voice he will say "I am strong!" which is a little ironic
- His voice is lighter in the SNES version.
