Gomora is an ancient dinosaur kaiju that initially appeared as an antagonist in Ultraman. Starting with Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle, however, incarnations of Gomora have been portrayed as allies to the protagonists of Ultra Series installments. He is one of the most popular recurring monsters in the Ultraman franchise.

Ultraman[]
The SSSP attempted to transport Gomora to the museum for the World's Fair, but the ancient monster broke free and went on a rampage. Ultraman attempted to stop the beast, but Gomora overpowered him, knocking the Beta Capsule out of his hand.
However, Hayata manages to reobtain the Beta Capsule and transform back into Ultraman to fight Gomora, destroying the kaiju with a Specium Ray.
Ultraman Taro[]
Gomora appears in the flashback in episode 25 as one of the members of Alien Empera's Empera Army.
Ultraman 80[]
A Gomora living underground , dubbed Gomora II, came to the surface when it was awoken by UNDA's secretary and began rampaging. Ultraman 80 soon appeared and fought the kaiju, destroying it with the Saxium Beam.
Gomora was absorbed along with Red King by Yapool's choju Gadiba. After Red King was defeated by Ultraman Mebius, Gadiba emerged and transformed into Gomora. This Gomora was destroyed by the combined forces of Mebius and GUYS.
Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle[]
Gomora makes an appearance in this series as a heroic kaiju, aiding the main hero Rei in fighting against evil monsters. This Gomora would later appear again in the sequel series, Ultra Galaxy Mega Monster Battle: Never Ending Odyssey, and the movie Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie.
