Biography[]
Don Gonzalo is the strict father of Isabelle Miravalez and the husband of Rebecca Del Carmen-Miravalez. He is the owner of a hacienda. Gonzalo was one of those who opposed Samuel and Isabelle's relationship by trying to bury Samuel alive. Later on he regretted making Isabelle marrying Franco and later betrayed Franco's camp during the election and later on became an ally of Samuel in destroying Franco.

Gonzalo was a haciendero who looks down to his obreros. He can do everything just to remain powerful like ordering the sugar plantation of the Hidalgos to be burnt, the assassination of Eduardo and abduction of Gabriel.
Everything will change after his imprisonment when he almost lost his wealth and possession. He valued more his family than material things and promised to exact revenge against Maximo for what he did to his family and to reclaim Isabelle from her broken marriage with Franco.
