Biography[]
Civil Unrest[]
Gopher Wood, described by The Watchmaker, Mikhail Char Legwork, was once a kind person and an affable gentleman towards him when he first arrived in Penacony. When Mikhail went to the front lines, the townsfolk of Penacony had dispute with Wood, but he forgaves the townsfolk for their transgressions and silently resumed their work. Mikhail noticed that people began to dislike Wood, so he held the banquet and lecture for Gopher Wood along with Oti Alfalfa from the Alfalfa Family, beginning their friendship.
When "Banana Assassin" failed to assassinate Gopher Wood and Mikhail Char Legwork, The Bloodhound Family suspected that Gopher Wood was the mastermind, but "Banana Assassin" admitted that it was "Grandpa Pine" all along. The nefarious townsfolk were all arrested and brought to justice with the help of Mikhail Char Legwork and Gopher Wood forgaves the townsfolk who framed him and was willing to accept them as his helpers. Mikhail's faith in his friend has grown stronger as Wood's reputation ascends. However, no-one knows who the figures that Grandpa Pine and Banana Assassin in the Clockie Cartoon were based on.
After the fall of The Traitor, Mikhail Char Legwork proposed the idea of inviting more Dreamchasers from the cosmos to aid the efforts of Penacony's development, which Gopher Wood agreed. The population of Penacony began to grow and Wood diligently listens to various reports remotely and approaches each new emerging regulation. Mikhail recognized his duty and stepped forward to assist him in governing Penacony. However, Mikhail later realized he wasn't suitable for the job because his sense of responsibility causes a lot of trouble for Gopher Wood. The land of Penacony was divided into individual private territories. The rebellious Dreamchasers within the territory no longer heeded jurisdiction of Gopher Wood, and they began fought for the ownership of the territory, to the extent going against Gopher Wood. When every complaint swarmed toward the heart of the town like snowflakes, Gopher Wood decided to act and disciplining the disobedient Dreamchasers, by sending out the guards and educates them.
Mikhail suggests Gopher Wood that they need to devise the plan to reclaim the lands and unify Penacony. He began to negotiate with the rebels to find a way to reconcile, but the contradictions between the two factions could not be unresolved overnight. To seize the most fertile lands in Penacony, the rebels got into a violent conflict with Gopher Wood's guards. Meanwhile, Asna, the founder and the head of Iris Family, embarked on concert tour through the wasteland to sing a song of peace to quell the anger of the rebellious factions. Unfortunately, she became the victim of memory zone monster attacks. Neither Gopher Wood nor the rebels rescued her, and they blame each other for it, resulting the failure of the negotiation effort. The rebel boss began to recruit soldiers, including the mercenaries from the cosmos, gearing up for the large-scale battle. Gopher Wood preemptively investigated the rebels' movements and driving off the mercenaries. As he returns to his house, Gopher suddenly caught up in an explosion from his house, failed to detect anything amiss. As it turns out, the rebel boss had ordered his subordinates to plant the bombs into his home and trigger it when he entered the house. Gopher Wood was wounded, and his house collapsed in an explosion. He was rescued by Glaux and the Nightingale Family, but his wings were severed. Seeing a badly wounded Wood made Mikhail felt remorseful. As he senses his inability to make significant decisions in town, he no longer wanted Gopher Wood to hold back and quietly vanished.
Gopher Wood no longer tolerates the rebels. To ensure the welfare of the remaining townsfolk, he ventured the desert alone and confront the rebels, extending countless "branches" as he shows no mercy with his power. In the end, the rebels were apprehended and chased out of Penacony by Gopher Wood. And he also accepted the surrendered rebels as a new generation of the townsfolk. Since then, the Dreamchasers and the townsfolk have united as one. As the Penacony reunited with the new lands as one, Mikhail, the Watchmaker had reappeared before Gopher Wood.

He also accepted IPC's offer for to make peace for the time being as they extended an Olive branch on Penacony. As many tourists flocked into the town of Penacony, forming the majority of the population there, they were demanded to get involved for the town management every day, unwiling to live by the strict rules set by the Dreammaster, Gopher Wood. To maintain peace in Penacony, Gopher Wood stood the ground and rejected the request. Resulting the newcomers left disgruntled and start wreaking havoc in the streets. Realizing their efforts were in vain, the rebels decided to show their might to Gopher Wood. In which, this incident was referred as "Dreamburn Riots".
The rebels brought monsters from outside into the town, leaving the streets in pandemonium. The Bloodhound Family rushed out to the streets to maintain order. The rebels have transformed Sweet Dreams Troupe into Dreamjolt Troupe with memoria, resulting them attacking the innocent bystanders. Maeven Ellis, Head of the Iris Family, put herself before the Townsfolk. She tried to awake Dreamjolt Troupe from their influence of Memoria, but no avail as her left eye strucked by the Dreamjolt Troupe. The Watchmaker, Mikhail Char Legwork rushes into the streets in hurry, only to find everything engulfed into chaos. As The Reverie Hotel was left unguarded, the rebels set the hotel on fire. Gopher Wood has entered the hotel to rescue any Penacony citizens who were trapped in fire and his body was immolated. Without his physical body, Gopher Wood had to resort possessing the ravens or other Oak Family members to appear in public. The historical event would be written in the play Night of Burning Dreams.
Conflicts With The Watchmaker[]
After the Dreamburn Riots event, Gopher Wood stopped discussing with The Watchmaker, Mikhail Char Legwork about Penacony's future. Instead, he started implementing changes to the town alone. Mikhail reconnected with his old friends in other family lineages in hopes to make them see Gopher Wood's mistake, but he got no support. Mikhail later made his way to Dewlight Pavillion hoping to discuss with Gopher Wood once more, but was promptly escorted out. From that moment, Mikhail saw his friend, Gopher Wood no longer follows the Harmony and started taking the path of The Order.
The Watchmaker returns to Dreamflux Reef and revamps it with the help of Gallagher, Micah, and Orla. When The Dreammaster finds out about the situation of Dreamflux Reef and issued a warning to The Watchmaker, the population of Dreamflux Reef was growing, but The Dreammaster's influence kept enroaching the village's borders. Because of the worsening conditions, many chose to return to Penacony. As The Watchmaker dug deeper into Penacony's secrets, he finds out that The Dreammaster had been stealing everyone's emotions to repair the collapsing Dreamscape. When discussing with Orla, Gallagher and Micah in Dreamflux Reef, The Watchmaker also told the truth that the Dreamscape technology is powered by the Stellaron and in the grasp of The Dreammaster in Penacony Grand Theater. Later, The Watchmaker came up with the great idea: they would organize a festival using the "Watchmaker's Legacy" as a facade, and sending the invitations to the entire Cosmos to gather people to fight against The Family. He asked Gallagher to make sure to send an invitation to the Astral Express, so he can leave the true legacy to the Express. Gallagher would execute the plan later during the Charmony Festival in the first year of 2158 AE.

In which, Sunday becoming much closer to Gopher Wood than his sister, and secretly raised with the teachings of the Order rather than the Harmony, and Wood even gave him the authority of managing Aideen Park to teach the boy how to enforce order. After Robin's departure, Gopher Wood's influence on Sunday become much stronger, as Sunday rose higher into becoming the head of Oak Family, all while secretly following the Order rather than the Harmony.
