The Gordom Civilization are an ancient civilization which resurfaced in the modern day and one of the four main antagonist factions of GoGo Sentai Boukenger.
History[]
Past[]
40,000 years before the present day, the Gordom Civilization was founded when the "Destruction God" Gordom came to Earth from space. The people of the Gordom Civilization formed their civilization around Gordom and began worshipping it, used the technology he had brought to rule over the sea until they were at some point sealed away beneath it.
Boukenger[]
In the present day however, the Gordom Civilization was inadvertently revived by the actions of Masumi and Natsuki while they were excavating the ruins of its underseas island for the "Heart of Gordom". The Gordom Civilization soon became one of the "Negative Syndicates" opposing the Boukengers for the Precious, alongside the Jaryuu Clan and Dark Shadow. The Gordom Civilization would form alliances with both at different points in order to advance their goal, that being to use the Precious to revive their lost people and take over the world.
Arch Priest Gajah would later revive two defeated members of the Ashu Tribe, Furious Demon God Gai and Grand Beast Rei, as the Questers by placing Gordom Engines in their bodies. Gajah hoped to enlist their help in fighting the Boukengers, but the two Questers very quickly betrayed him and stole the newest "Giant God" mecha he was working on, Gagadom, in order to fight the Boukengers on their own.
After the defeats of the Questers and Yaiba of Darkness, Gajah would finally put his own plan into motion by seizing Pandora's Box and using its evil to create a new minion, Desperado. He would then use Desperado to help him retrieve the two Preciouses of Gordom, the Heart of Gordom and the Brain of Gordom, from SGS. Gajah intended to absorb both to revive Gordom within him and merge with the deity before absorbing all the Precious in the world, but was only able to recover Gordom's Heart. After mutating himself into Gajadom, Gajah was defeated by the Boukengers and the Gordom Civilization would once again fall. As the Gordom island sank back into the sea, Gajah reentered suspended animation, in the hopes that one day he would be reawakened and could make another attempt to revive his lost civilization.
Later history[]
Several Combatant Karths were part of an army of past enemy grunts that were fought by the Gokaigers in Los Dark's ghost dimension which housed the 1500 spirits of the villains defeated by the Super Sentai. After losing some of their number in an initial skirmish, the remaining members from each grunt group merged to form the Combined Combatant. Though the stronger opponent, the Combined Combatant proved to be unstable due to internal conflicting among the grunts composing him over who got to finish the pirates off. Taking advantage, the Gokaigers used the Battle Fever J Ranger Keys to destroy the Combined Combatant with the Penta Force cannon.
