In "Dear Vikings", Mr. Krabs creates a "Viking promotion" by serving Regular, Large, and Viking Sized Drinks (in reality they are all the same) in a bid to not only save money, but to also fool the customers into paying more for the same cup. He also states that whoever orders the Viking Sized cup gets to try on a cardboard helmet (which he found in the basement). This gets SpongeBob interested in the Vikings. Squidward tells SpongeBob all about the Vikings, however, nothing that he tells him is actually true.
SpongeBob sends a letter to the Vikings, but it gets immediately thrown out for not having a valid address on it, meanwhile, a garbage man, who is actually a Viking, notices the letter and delivers it to the Chieftain.
The Chieftain sends all of his men, including Gordon, to teach SpongeBob about the Vikings. Gordon and the other Vikings proceed to cause a fire, kidnap SpongeBob and Squidward, and steal the cash register.
The Vikings bring SpongeBob and Squidward to their ship and Gordon introduces the crew, who are all named Olaf, are SpongeBob asks what they like to do for fun, one of the Vikings say that they like to sing songs, which isn't actually true and results in him getting catapulted off the ship. Gordon proceeds to make SpongeBob the head chef, and Squidward the bathroom attendant. Squidward complains about the Vikings' lifestyle, which results in the Vikings trying to catapult him off the ship. The Vikings discover that they've hit a rock and that their boat is leaking. SpongeBob manages to save everyone by using his porous appearance to plug up the boat and stop the leak.
In "Captain Pipsqueak", he can be seen auditioning to become a member of Every Villain Is Lemons.

In "Is There a Director in the House?", he appears on a TV screen in Squidina's workstation.
