“ | Oh: Long ago, our enemy, the Gorg, invited the Boov to a peace meeting. But Smek wisely fled in terror. And he took a great trophy, the "Shusher". Tip: Why is it called the "Shusher"? |

~ Oh telling Tip about the story between Gorg and Smek, which that flashback is completely foreshadowed the Gorg's breakdown. |
“ | Tip: What was all that? Oh: Not all Gorg-speak has humans words. But it turns out, Gorg was not here because of my invitation, though Gorg would have been happy to attend. Gorg was here because Gorg was tracking the rock. Lucy: What was in that thing? Oh: Gorg family. It is entire next generation. Lucy: All of them? Oh: All of them. [Gorg Commander returns to his ship with his children and leaves Earth.] Tip: No wonder they've been chasing you. Oh: Not they, he. Apparently, that Gorg is last Gorg. That was why rock was so important. Without it, he was alonely, and would someday be extinctly, which made Gorg cranky and irrational and physically violent. He was just like humansgirl. He was sad-mad. |

The Gorg Commander is the overarching antagonist of DreamWorks' 31st full-length animated feature film Home.
He's the last Gorg on the planet. After his children were taken away, he looked after them and became into a villain as a result. He attempted to blow up planets in a frantic attempt to get his kids back and even taking revenge on the Boovs by destroying them.
He was voiced by Brian Stepanek in the film and by Tom Kenny in the series.
Biography[]
Although Gorg Commander was referenced previously in the movie, we first saw him in a flashback when Captain Smek managed to get away from him and take the egg, which have him swore to find his egg and even taking revenge on the Boovs by destroying them, and whenever the Boovs find a new home, he destroys their new home regardless of when he finds them.
Later, after reading Oh's invitation, Gorg Commander shows up and begins destroying Boov until one of his little ships, piloted by a microchip, crashes. Gorg Commander begins to tear apart Earth, but Oh chooses to utilize the chip to stop him. Oh reveals to him the egg that caused him to halt, emerging from his mothership to exhibit his genuine kindness and revealing that he is, in fact, a tiny alien that resembles a starfish.
Given that the egg contained a homing beacon that allowed him to locate and follow the Boovs, it appears that the Gorg came to Earth as a result of the egg itself rather than Oh's invitation. Since he was the last Gorg of his species, he had been pursuing the egg that Smek had taken from him all along. In the closing moments, he joins in on a dance with his kids and goes to Oh's Earthly celebration, just as he would have if he had received the invitation.
