Biography[]
Past[]
Although his past is overall unknown, Gorma Emperor XV became the ruler of the Gorma Tribe at some point but was instantly driven insane by the Earth Shaking Jewel. Despite this, he was ruthless and launched an attack against the human race but died in battle. He was recreated as a clay puppet by Shadam just before the Gorma Tribe was banished from the Earth after being defeated by the Dai Tribe.
Dairanger[]
In 1993, Gorma XV orders another attack on Earth but remains in space watching the attacks from afar. When the modern Dairangers defeat the Gorma multiple times, the Emperor sends Archbishop Saw to destroy them but they manage to kill him as well.
After the deaths of Akomaru and the Three Ladies, Gorma Emperor XV brings the Gorma Palace to Earth. Once there, he summons the Triumvirate and is initially interested until Shadam reveals the awakening of a sixth Mythical Chi Beast. Interested, Gorma XV gives Shadam command over the Earth's invasion instead of General Tenpou due to his greater experience. Shortly after the death of Fast-Talking Wanderer, Gorma XV grants Shadam use of the Gorma Four Deva Kings in his battles against the Dairangers but they are killed anyway.
After a false memory is installed by Shadam, Gorma XV shows himself as an extremely powerful entity with insanity inherited all Gorma's past 14 emperors due to the power of Earth Shaking Jewel which supplies the Emperor's power with an unlimited supply of the "evil energy" for him to live, though only few actually know the truth. When Daijinryuu attacks the Earth, Master Kaku enters the Gorma Palace and tries to convince the Gorma Emperor to call a cease fire. Although the Emperor repeatedly refuses, the near death of his entourage convinces him to call a ceasefire and Daijinryuu leaves. When Shadam and Kaku both make claims to Gorma XV's throne, he has them fight to the death with Shadam winning and killing Master Kaku. When confronted by Shadam though, the Emperor refuses and attempts to use the Earth Shaking Jewel to kill Shadam himself. However, Shadam reveals the Emperor's true nature as a clay puppet created by Shadam himself and a pawn to make Shadam become the new Gorma Emperor just as Shadam makes the Emperor crumble into mud. Horrified, the Emperor pleas for help from the arriving male Dairangers but is eventually reduced into dust before he can reveal Shadam's plan.
Personality[]
The Emperor was a sadistic, heartless creature with a "playful" outlook on things. However, the Emperor turned more serious when he discovered Shadam's intent to overthrow him. He was hoping for Shadam to fall to their enemies so that he could rule the world foerver. However, much to the Emperor's dismay, Shadam became next in succession and demanded the Earth Shaking Jewel from the Emperor. Gorma Emperor possessed an evil, tyrannical and violent nature, which was shown during the series. He was an unrelenting and tyrannical psychopath, who was devoid of any empathy towards the others. He was also supremely arrogant and egotistical and considered himself as an ultimate life form and the ultimate and perfect ruler of Earth. However, despite his arrogant and psychopathic nature, Gorma Emperor was also a highly studious and intelligent individual who could easily play on the emotions of his enemies and make them unknowingly help him in his plans and goals, if he knew their weaknesses. He was a capable and brilliant schemer and liar and proved this multiple times during the series. Also, despite his ruthless, tyrannical and psychopathic nature, Gorma Emperor showed a somehow cowardly side, because he was afraid of his defeat and death and preferred to use a cheating tactics in battle.
Overall, Gorma XV had no any sympathetic moments shown during the series. He showed no redeeming qualities and was nothing than a cowardly and egotistical tyrant, who was obsessed with gaining power. Actually the only moment where he showed possible sympathy to the viewer was in the finale when he frantically begged the Dairangers to save him. However, while he begged for his life, he still showed no remorse for his actions and his death was more likely played as deserved and expected karma, which fell on him for his treachery and violent tyranny.
