Goron is a minor antagonist of the last episodes in the third season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He was a male Trandoshan hunter who killed for sport on the planet Wasskah. During the Clone Wars, a member of his guild kidnapped a Jedi Padawan named Ahsoka Tano and took her to Wasskah to hunt, but the guild he was unsuccessful to kill her and led to the deaths of many Trandoshans, including Goron.
He was voiced by Dee Bradley Baker, who also voices Admiral Trench in the same series, Klaus Heissler in American Dad!, Bubble Bass in SpongeBob SquarePants, and Admiral Kassius Konstantine in Star Wars Rebels.
Before 20 BBY, Goron was apart of a Trandoshan hunting guild which hunted animals or people for sport. His job for the guild was to pilot the ship which contained the contestants for the hunts.
In 20 BBY, Goron, along with his friend Clutch, piloted a ship to Island Four and dropped off five contestants, one being a Jedi Padawan named Ahsoka Tano. On the orders of Garnac, Lo-Taren then shot two contestants while Goron and Clutch flew up to the Trandoshan base.
Later the next day when the sun rose up, Garnac then proclaimed that a new day has begun, and all the Trandoshans cheered and walked out of the base to kill some more contestants. However, Goron and Clutch never participated in the hunts for they were too busy piloting contestants onto Wasskah.
On the same night that their friend Dar died, Goron and Clutch were about to dispatch another prisoner named Chewbacca onto Wasskah, but their ship was being hijacked by three Jedi, one being Ahsoka. Clutch, who was piloting the vessel, ordered Goron to go on the roof and deal with the Jedi. But when Goron got on the roof, he was easily beaten by the three Jedi. While being pinned down by O-Mer and Jinx, Ahsoka then went into the bridge of the vessel and killed Clutch, but this caused Clutch to destroy the stearing, spinning the rogue vessel out of control.
As the vessel was spinning, Goron grabbed onto one of the Jedi's feet to hold on, but O-Mer noticed the Trandoshan and kicked him off the ship, sending the Trandoshan pilot screaming to his doom. All three Jedi including Chewbacca survived the crash and later killed Garnac.
- Goron was named after the Gorn, a species of aliens from Star Trek who look a lot like Trandoshans.
