“ | Your grandfather and I were... acquainted... several years ago. I have been... away... since then. I only arrived back on Earth. | „ |
~ Gorvan introducing himself to Ben Tennyson. |
Gorvan is a secondary antagonist in a non-canon video game Ben 10: Alien Force, serving as a pawn of the Highbreed. He is eventually canonized in Ben 10: Omniverse, appearing as a minor antagonist.
A wanted Tetramand criminal, Gorvan used to be a Magister-ranked Plumber who has been secretly handling an illegal alien technology to the highest bidders on a black market. When Max Tennyson discovered this, Gorvan disappeared without a trace, only to return several years later on Earth during a secret Highbreed invasion. Because the Earth had no full-time Plumbers in its sector at the time, Gorvan was free to manipulate the trio consisting of Ben Tennyson, Gwen Tennyson and Kevin Levin (Alien Force), until he revealed himself and got defeated.
In Omniverse, Gorvan is a Tetramand spy working for Psyphon, disguising himself to infiltrate Plumber headquarters and selling their weaponry to the criminals. His ultimate goal was bringing the Annihilarrgh to Psyphon, a doomsday device that could destroy the entire universe upon being activated. In the end, however, Plumbers see through his disguise and Gorvan unknowingly leads them into Psyphon's hideout, getting beaten by Gwen Tennyson before being arrested.
His video game incarnation is voiced by John DiMaggio, who has also voiced Aggregor, Ragnarok and Vulkanus in the same franchise. On the other hand, his show incarnation is voiced by Rob Paulsen, who also voiced Rhomboid Vreedle, Captain Kork and Phil Billings.
Appearance[]
As a Tetramand, Gorvan is extremely tall by human standards, possesses two pairs of arms and has dark-red thorny skin, as well as two sets of solid orange eyes. He is overweight by his species' standards and has black facial hair, including a goatee beard. Both of his incarnations wear lime-green short-sleeved jumpsuits with bright-green line patterns, black pants and fingerless gloves. His video game self also wears a Plumber badge on his left pectorial.
Powers and Abilities[]
Tetramand physiology: Gorvan is a Tetramand, belonging to a race of highly-advanced aliens from desert world Khoros. As such, Gorvan is naturally very proficient at technology and possesses superhuman physical characters, despite being nowhere near physically fit members of his species, such as Four Arms or Looma.
- Superhuman strength: Tetramands can easily lift several tons bare-handed, cause small earthquakes, create pillars by punching the ground and send out fire-extinguishing shock waves by clapping their four hands together. Gorvan is able to use his superhuman strength through a unique technique, in which he spins around with his fists clenched, dealing unlockable attacks to his opponents. He can also thrust his stomach forward by a charge, knocking his enemies backwards. He was also able to overpower Psyphon, threatening to snap his neck if he moved. However, he pales in comparison to actual Tetramand warriors, such as Looma, who was able to easily overpower him alongside several other male Tetramands.
- Superhuman durability: Tetramands can withstand fire and immense temperatures, as well as electricity, point-blank missile explosions, conventional blunt force and radiation. While not an extraordinary specimen, Gorvan was shown to survive falling from Plumber ship several miles high in Earth's atmosphere. In the video game, Gorvan makes up for his lack of shape with a device called "Rejuvenator", which continuously regenerates a portion of his health if he is badly damaged.
- Superhuman jumping: Tetramands can jump at immense heights to faster locomotion and catch aerial opponents high in the air. Gorvan can likewise quickly travel to any point at the battleboard in Nintendo DS version of Alien Force by jumping.
- Superhuman dexterity: Tetramands' additional limbs allow them to grab multiple projectiles mid-air and outnumber other beings in combat.
- Superhuman reflexes: Tetramands are able to catch incoming missiles from close distance and react to Kinecelerans.
- Superhuman agility: Despite his build, Gorvan is surprisingly nimble and agile in combat, being able to spin around for extended periods of time and relentlessly attack his opponents.

Trivia[]
- He is likely a reference to the character of Dr. Jumba Jookiba from Lilo & Stitch, given that they both are overweight aliens with two sets of yellow eyes and super strength, who station on Earth to avoid being caught.
- Even though Gorvan is first introduced as a video-game character, he has his own action figure and his collective card that shows what he looks like in the TV series. He also has a smaller toy in an Alien Creation two-pack with Murk Upchuck.
- Gorvan is shorter and fatter than average for a Tetramand.
