The Grassy Wizard is the main antagonist ' in the Adventure Time episode, "Blade of Grass." He is an evil wizard who sells Finn his Grass Sword. The sword was supposed to be a curse, but Finn finds it useful and decides to keep it.
He wass voiced by Jeff Bennett.
History[]
He first appears in "Blade of Grass" where he sells Finn a cursed Grass Sword for $3 and tells him no takes backs. After Finn finds out he can't control he the sword he decides to go return it to the Grassy Wizard. After confronting him Finn and Jake demand the Grassy Wizard to lift the curse, but he says that the curse will live with Finn for eternity. However, Finn accepts the curse, which makes the Wizard feel dumbfounded.
He later appears in "Do No Harm" where he is confronted by Jake and Fern. Fern asks the wizard about his purpose and why the wizard created him from the grass sword. The wizard reveals that he created the sword as a joke from the term "Blade of Grass." He then tries to command Fern, but Fern instead beats him up and takes him to the Candy Kingdom hospital.
Appearance[]
The Grassy Wizard is overweight and has long, unkempt, green-gray hair. He wears a bright-green shirt and dark-green pants that appear to be made of grass. Two leaves are attached to his face, one to his bearded chin and one to his forehead. His nose is long and beak-like. He also carries a magic wand that glows green when it casts spells.
When the Grassy Wizard first sells Finn the grass blade, he hides his appearance by shrouding himself in darkness and wearing a black robe and opaque sunglasses.
Personality[]
The Grassy Wizard enjoys cursing people, but is not very good at it. He is angered when Finn accepts the Grass Blade instead of seeing it as a curse.
Powers and Abilities[]
The Grassy Wizard can control grass. Presumably, he built his yurt in the marketplace using this ability. He is also able to curse objects with grass powers. For instance, the grass blade he gives Finn is extremely precise, but it also tries to attach itself to Finn's body and reappears in Finn's bathroom even after it is thrown in a river. When Finn and Jake try to confront the Grassy Wizard, they are assaulted by grass monsters whom he probably enchanted. When the two finally reach him, the Grassy Wizard attacks them with more cursed grassy objects before surrendering.
