Graybot is a robotic minion of the leader Grimlord, and constructed by Colonel Icebot. He is a minor antagonist in VR Troopers. He serves as the titular main antagonist of the episode The Virtual Spy.
He was portrayed by Brandon Gaines, and voiced by Richard Epcar when Zelton takes his form.
Appearance[]
In his true form, he is a tall robot warrior that is clad in gray and black metal. He has an installed bolt launching mechanism fused to his right wrist and a jagged mask.
As Jeremy he is tall and looks pretty unsuspecting. He wears a regular shirt and pants. He often smiles.
Biography[]
Colonel Icebot creates him to gain the secrets of the VR Troopers and to catch them in an off-guarded assault. He agrees to do this and goes to reality as a mild-mannered teenager named Jeremy Gibson.
Jeremy starts working at the UV Daily and meets Kaitlin by driving a toy car near her that was carrying a piece of paper. Ryan and JB quickly meet him too, and Kaitlin starts to quickly like him.
At the Tao Dojo he displays a great knack for martial arts and does several spin kicks in the air. JB and Ryan don't quite like him and are unsure of his authenticity, though Kaitlin still thinks he's fine.
After finding out that Jeremy is a robotic soldier sent by Grimlord, he locks them in their lab and tries to destroy the base with them in it. JB stops this and signals Ryan to stop Graybot.
Ryan Steele and Graybot fight in some fields. Ryan dodges Graybot's bolts nearly every time. Graybot shoots multiple bolts at Ryan in different directions and Ryan is injured. Ryan then uses his lightning fist to deflect the next barrage of bolts. Graybot realizes he needs to catch Ryan by surprise, so he hides in the tall grass in the field and while Ryan tries to find him, Graybot shoots at him from Ryan's side and manages to pierce his left foot. Ryan os immobilized at first but he calls a speeder to aid him. Graybot will eventually dispatch the speeder, but after being worn out from the fight and losing his wrist-launcher's full functionality, Ryan uses a lightning attack on Graybot and he nearly loses his life. Ryan walks away, and Graybot powers up just enough to attack him once more. Ryan mocks him for being determined, and Graybot arrogantly tells him that he can't be beaten by him. Graybot explodes after overexerting himself.
Later Zelton will temporarily take his form when fighting Ryan, but it's notably just Zelton using Graybot's skills and abilities.
Powers and Abilities[]
He has the ability to take the shape of a human. In his real form he can shoot piercing bolts at his enemies. He is pretty strategic and he can analyze people's fighting moves. He is also a pretty good liar, although his cover didn't last long. He has decent aim, but he has trouble hitting Ryan if Ryan is moving.
