The Green Empyreal is an intensely powerful being that serves as the counterpart to the cosmic entity known as the Red Emmisary, the first of the Empyreals, the former servant of Zartus and a major antagonist in the Power Rangers comic-book line by Boom! Studios.
Biography[]
Past[]
The exact nature of the Empyreals is unclear but they came to exist when Rhian, Orisonth sacrificed thier Morphin Hearts and became the Red, Blue and Yellow Emissaries. As a cosmic counterbalance, the universe formed the three Empyreals; Orange, Green and Purple who, contrary to thier counterparts, wanted to kill all life in the universe and start everything over. However, they were defeated long ago and sealed away and would only return if the Emissary they were the counterpart to was killed.
Thousands of years later, the Eltarian Zartus found the secret to unlocking them and wanted to unlock them and decimate planets as part of a plan to destroy planets he judged unworthy of life. This would both destroy violent and irredeemable worlds but also allow him to bring a lot of planets under the protection of Eltar and by extension his rule.
Mighty Morphin Boom! Studios[]
The Green Empyreal is the first Empyreal to become known to the universe but not the first created since that was the Orange Empyreal. After the Orange Empyreal kills the Red Emissary, Zartus is able to resurrect the Green Empyreal who he sends to kill all life on Gorvin; a violent planet filled with sadistic psychopaths. The Green Empyreal easily accomplishes this task; killing all million people, turning the planet into a desert wasteland covered in skeletons and infesting it with new feral worm-like monsters. The Omega Rangers later arrive due to having picked up a gigantic energy reading where the devastation is so complete that they mistake the devastation for being caused by Serpentera but XI informs them that it can't be because the energy is far different. The Green Empyreal then reveals itself and its goals so the Omega Rangers attack since they know the danger it possesses but the Empyreal decimates them although he is swiftly overwhelmed when XI attacks with missiles from the Spectrum. Bored of fighting, the Green Empyreal summons a giant monster to eat the Omega Rangers. By the time that they destroy the creature, XI's scans reveal that the Green Empyreal is gone.

Unlike the other Empyreals, the Green Empyreal was an unnaturally calm and "logical" creature that rarely got angry unless directly attacked and often tried to defuse arguments by using its own twisted logic. Like its contemporaries however, it was a delusional being with a God complex that saw its genocidal actions as just and right for the state of the universe. They were all also very treacherous, desiring to break free from Zartus' influence and betraying him once they succeeded.

- Power: The Green Empyreal was an insanely powerful being, easily being more powerful than Lord Zedd or Rita Repulsa and perhaps even Dark Specter. It had the power to annihilate all life on entire planets in mere seconds and create new life and were almost completely invincible.
- Durability: The Green Empyreal was able to be smacked in the head by one of Zack's Omega Kamas and then piledrived into the ground, while completely brushing the superficial wounds off as "a mere scratch."
- Longevity: The Green Empyreal survived for thousands of years without ever ageing negatively.
- Levitation: The Green Empyreal was able to hover in the air without assistance.
- Planetary Decimation: The Empyreals' ultimate and most dangerous ability where they used an unknown explosion of immense energy to kill all life on a planet and reduce it to its earliest state of life.
- Lifeform Creation: As well as creating life naturally using its rebirth strategy, the Green Empyreal was able to create a giant creature out of a volcano before leaving Gorvin.
- Life Generation: The Green Empyreal could generate a rose in its hand at will.
- Terra Manipulation: The Green Empyreal could change the landscape of a planet by sheer force of will as seen when he first met the Omega Rangers and almost impaled them using giant crystals.
- Rock Generation: The Green Empyreal could summon rocks from thin air and make them fall on its enemies.
- Crystal Generation: The Green Empyreal could also summon small blue crystals from the ground to stab into its enemies. These were powerful enough to send Zack flying during thier first battle.
Weaknesses[]
- Celestial Shard: A special crystal that Zartus used to command them as he could summon and banish them at will. They later destroyed it and gained independence only to lose a lot of power and durability which removed any form of invincibility.
Arsenal[]
- Fists: Although it had no weapons of its own, the Green Empyreal was an immensely powerful being that could easily decimate the Power Rangers with its bare hands.
- Shockwaves: The Green Empyreal could launch a blue shock-wave from its left hand capable of sending Jason flying.
- Claws: The Green Empyreal's fists were also tipped with red razor sharp claws to slash its enemies with.
