~ Glen to Peter. |
Glen, also known as Green Goblin is the main antagonist of the Dhar Mann video SPIDER-MAN FIGHTS Bullies Inside SCHOOL. He is Peter Parker's archenemy who robbed several banks and framed Peter for it, causing him to get arrested temporarily.
He is portrayed by Ryan Wayne in his first villainous Dhar Mann role.
Biography[]
Past[]
When Glen was a young boy, his dad had abandoned him once his consulting business made a lot of money, as he had bought a new car and moved into a new house with a new family with his secretary, completely neglecting his former wife and son as they were in poverty. This led to Glen growing hatred for his father and rich people in general, taking on a new supervillain alias known as Green Goblin, where he robs banks and frames others for it, likely as a way to seek revenge against his father for leaving him.
SPIDER-MAN FIGHTS Bullies Inside SCHOOL[]
Spider-Man found a newspaper stating the Green Goblin had robbed a bank for the third time in a week and tells his friend, Glen, from school about it. Glen was later revealed to be Green Goblin all along, pretending to be a nerdy kid who was friends with Peter to frame him as Green Goblin. When Peter fights with Butch during a school dance, the police arrive to arrest Peter, thinking he is Green Goblin. Glen taunts Peter via the phone booth in prison, saying that now he is imprisoned, he can steal from more banks with nobody to stop him.
Peter is then taken back to his cell, where he meets Moose Wayne, who helps him get out of jail. He then puts his Spider-Man costume on and goes to stop Glen/Green Goblin to prove himself as a hero.
Spider-Man and Green Goblin start fighting, and the Green Goblin gets the upper hand on Peter Parker/Spider-Man. Eventually, he knocks Spider-Man down, saying he will have to find a new friend to sit at lunch with, but right as he is about to finish him off, Mary/Catwoman appears and takes him on, defeating him using only a few punches and kicks before helping Spider-Man up. The police find them and arrest Glen/Green Goblin for his crimes after knowing Spider-Man is innocent.
Personality[]
Glen is able to put on a good facade as a nice person, but was actually revealed to be sadistic and manipulative with little to no redeeming qualities, framing Peter as Green Goblin to have him be arrested and turn the entire world against him. His only motive for doing this being to regain the things he lost as a child after his father abandoned him and his mother, turning him into the supervillain known as Green Goblin, likely as a way to seek revenge.
Trivia[]
- For some reason, Green Goblin's name in the video is Glen and not Norman/Harry Osborn.
- He is the first supervillain in Dhar Mann and is the second Marvel character overall.
