The Green Monster of The Swamp, is a minor antagonist in the 2023 video game Lies of P. It is a mysterious creature of unknown origin that lives in the Barren Swamp.
Biography[]
Past[]
Nobody knows where the Green Monster came from. There were many theories as to what it was: a creation of the Alchemists, a creature mutated by the pollution caused by the Barren Swamp being used for landfill or perhaps even divine retribution created from Krat's wrath.
The Alchemists hired sentries to watch it, but it eventually killed them all off.
Fall of Krat[]
As Krat's structural integrity failed, the broken body of the Scrapped Watchman fell down into the Barren Swamp Nest. Eventually, P discovered and fought the creature, managing to overpower it. It retreated, noticing the Watchman's body in the process. It assimilated it, turning into the Puppet-Devouring Green Monster, now able to use its body to attack and channel electricity. This made it a much trickier opponent, but P managed to out manoeuvre and kill it.
