Grim Heart is the main antagonist of Magical Girl Raising Project: JOKERS.
A member of Magical Kingdom's Information Bureau, Grim Heart is one of the two incarnations (alongside Lethe) of Chêne・Osk・Baal・Mel, one of the Three Sages. Grim is the brains behind the Artificial Magical Girl project. However, after an unknown person stole her research that resulted in the creation of her nemeses, the Pure Elements (Princess Deluge/Nami Aoki, Princess Quake/Chiko Saitou, Princess Inferno/Akari Hiyama and Princess Tempest/Mei Higashionna), Grim Heart enacts a conspiratorial plot by desiring their capture to kill them (due to the Elements being the only ones to oppose her) and the other magical girls through her enforcer Shufflin to hide her involvement. She serves as the arch-nemesis of the Pure Elements, as well as Shufflin's master and Snow White's arch-enemy.
Appearance[]
Grim Heart has short, crimson-red hair that curls inward and is extremely curled. She has no hair bangs, however her hair is embellished with red hearts on the left side of her bangs. Her eyes, which include a heart pattern, are crimson. She also has crimson heart-shaped lashes. Her makeup comprises of crimson eyeshadow and lipstick. She also has crimson-colored brows. Her hair fades to black at the tips.
The red hearts are outlined in black and adorned with various heart ornaments. The heart on the upper right has a black star in the center. She is wearing a light pink crown with heart motifs and a light pink flamingo ornament in the middle. She wears a lovely black and white garment with a heart-shaped hole in the center, which looks to be black. The dress's sleeves look to have pointed holes and strong white stripes. Her sleeves are black.
She also has a large red heart attachment around her neck with black borders that is attached with a golden heart pin. Red hearts with black edges are pointed on both sides, with black ribbons connecting the ribbons. She looks to be wearing red flowers at the bottom, with dark gray foliage. Black spades with black lines sprout from her back, along with some black lines at the bottom.
She wears dark grey stockings, a black heart on her right thigh, and scarlet red and black heels. Grim Heart is pictured holding a four-petaled peach blossom with dark crimson highlights and orange foliage.
Personality[]
Grim Heart is highly self-centered and finds everyone around her to be nasty, save Shufflin. Those who do not respect her are deemed "barbaric". She really enjoys being praised, owing to her egotistical personality.
She frequently abuses her subordinate Shufflins, particularly the heart Shufflins, which tend to be the most emotional and so subservient. Grim Heart is incredibly lazy and expects Shufflin to do all of the work for her, including making plans, probably because her own are inadequate.
Grim Heart has no remorse for her prisoners and will instruct Joker Shufflin to decapitate a Magical Girl without hesitation when the Shufflin army is low. She does not care about her victims, as seen by her distaste at Princess Tempest's tears and irritation with Umbrain's screams. She is also plainly loathed in the Magical Kingdom; when she was charged with creating a film for the Osk Faction, everyone despised it and thought negatively of the faction.
Abilities[]
She will not tolerate any interference from her opponents as long as they are not "permitted". Combat, magic, conversation, mind reading, and any other form of communication can only be performed by Grim Heart, and she is the only one who can switch it off anytime she wants, which might imply that when someone attempts to speak under Grim Heart's spell, she hears gibberish.
It is up to Grim Heart to decide if a person is rude or not, although in general, everyone except her and Shufflin is rude. Anyone who speaks to her without her consent will only hear "off with your head". The magic also works in a person's own reality, such as Keek's Cyber World.

- Grim Heart is a homage of the Queen of Hearts from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, complete with the Queen of Hearts motif and the famous line "Off with your head!"
