Gristle is a minor antagonist in 'Fallout 4.He is one of Raider leader Jared's top Lieutenants and was sent to capture Mama Murphy because of her ability to predict the future.
Gristle at some point joined the gang (possible because of free drugs Jared offered) and quickly rose in the ranks eventually one of the gangs top Lieutenants.When the gang set up shop in Lexington Gristle was the one that led the group who exterminated them. A month prior to Preston Garvey's group moving to Sanctuary Hills,Gristle raid 3 caravans and heard from a fellow raider named Freddie about Preston's group and informed Jared about it.Gristle request to have more men to raid the group which Jared said yes and wanted Gristle to capture mama Murphy because of her powers,but Gristle simply wanted to kill Preston for his hat.
Fallout 4[]
Gristle is leading he group of raiders to kill Preston's group when the sole survivor arrives in Concord. After the sole survivor kills Gristle's first wave of raiders he leads his second but ultamitly either is killed by the sole survivor or the deathclaw that came out the near by vent.
