Grizzy is one of the main protagonists of Grizzy and the Lemmings. Said to be the most feared predator in the Canadian reserve he lives in, he believes he's at the top of the food chain, which is why he believes in living in the forest ranger's home, as he is capable in using all the appliances. The only thing that stands in his way of luxury are the Lemmings, who give him a lot of trouble.
Grizzy is not exactly a villain all of the time but he's not an antagonist either. Grizzy did most of the crimes in some episodes, despite not being a villain, but in some point, most of the episodes is that he actually helped the Lemmings even if it's important to get the house back or fix their mistakes. As the series progressed, he's starting to be less evil and less immature and focused being a good friend to the Lemmings sometimes so they're actually consider best friends but arch-enemies, he even tried his best to marry She-bear but she shares no interest in him due to a lot of failed attempts trying to impress her caused by the Lemmings or himself.
He was voiced by Pierre-Alain de Garrigues.
Appearance[]
Grizzy has a brown body and a light brown fat tummy. He is approximately 7-feet tall in height and wears a pair of small sandals and a green locket which belong to the Forest Ranger.
As a cub, he appeared as a baby bear with no locket or sandals. However, this was only seen in his and the Lemmings' flashback in the episode "As Far as Bear can Remember".
History[]
Grizzy is a lazy bear who wants to be alone without any noise but ever since the Lemmings 1st appeared, they always listen to loud music which quite annoys Grizzy a lot.
Grizzy is the only bear who is the arch-enemy of the Lemmings, Grizzy hates loud music, his favorite food was fish and Yummy (Chocolate itself). Grizzy also likes intruders or rodents (except Lemmings) as they don't annoy Grizzy as Grizzy thought they were cute.
Grizzy is also consider a leader in some episodes as he manages to make slavery using items from the Forest Ranger or from outside of the Forest.
Villainous Acts[]
Grizzy steals ideas from the Lemmings but also steal food from the Lemmings, the forest, and from the Forest Ranger.
Season 1[]
- Polar Bear: Nutty Hill is suffering from a stifling heat wave; Grizzy decides to get into the fridge, where the temperature will be more bearable, but the refrigerator shelves are already full of lemmings so Grizzy tried getting rid of them.
- Bear Spread: Just as Grizzy is about to coat a nice, big, fresh salmon with Yummy brand chocolate spread and snuggle up in front of the TV, he discovers that the pantry is empty. But when he saw the Lemmings taking the food, he decides to harm them to get the food back.
- Cellular Bear: Grizzy gets addicted to a game on the forest ranger's phone; however, the Lemmings, who have discovered the phone's music app, need it in order to transform the garage into a discotheque so Grizzy tried to take the phone back from them.
- Jurassic Bear: When Grizzy saw a new mysterious egg at the front door of the cabin, Grizzy struggles to tolerate the newest addition to the Lemmings squad so Grizzy tried to keep the egg to himself but it ended up hatched so he tried to get rid of the Lemmings.
- Extreme Fitness: After Grizzy saw She-Bear, he needs to impress She-Bear but before Grizzy can impress the She-Bear by slimming down, he must first kick the Lemmings off the workout machines they use as an amusement park.
- Domestic Robots: Ever since there was a new Vacuum Cleaner owned by the Forest Ranger, Grizzy and the Lemmings is trying to get rid of it.
- Mass Control: When the high-tech remote 1st arrived, Grizzy decide to use it to control the entire house. If he used the high-tech remote, he'll otherwise get rid of the Lemmings using the remote or use security so they wouldn't go inside.
- Bear Under Control: Grizzy locked up the fridge so that the Lemmings wouldn't touch the fridge to get Yummy while he's sleeping.
- Popcorn Party: When Grizzy invites she-bear over for a buttery snack, Lemmings challenged him for a wrestle so they decide to fight for a wrestle to take the kernels.
- Lemming Tonic: Grizzy just wants a nap! But his claim to the couch becomes a battle of wills with the ultra-hyper Lemmings after they discover its bouncy ability.
- Bear Itch: The cabin is infested with fleas, and Grizzy's efforts to rid his home of the pesky parasites come to a pause when the Lemmings refuse to let him throw them out so Grizzy tried to get Lemmings and the fleas out.
- Thirst Quencher: When a second heat wave hits Nutty Hill, the Lemmings use the last sources of water for their pool while Grizzy tries to quench his thirst.
- Spider Lemmings: Grizzy's fear of spiders and even more so the Lemmings' use of its web for bungee jumping complicates his ability to kill one so Grizzy tried his best to get rid of the spiders even the lemmings.
- Random Bear: When a giant Yummy jar is the grand prize in a competition, Grizzy and the Lemmings fight to win the jackpot while Grizzy might try his best to cheat.
- Lemming Interference: The Lemmings jump into the pool from Grizzy's television antenna. This creates interference on Grizzy's television, Grizzy intervenes.
- High Voltage Bear Attack: Due to a permanent power outage, neither Grizzy can watch TV nor the Lemmings partying. Later, Grizzy sees the Lemmings partying at another power source so Grizzy decide to get his TV and try to stop the Lemmings from partying to use the power source.
- Bear Scents: To please his beloved she-bear, Grizzy brings her flowers. But the delightful smell will be eclipsed by the Lemmings' dung pit-diving endeavors so Grizzy tries to stop them.
- Bear Luck: After a terrible day filled with embarrassment and frustration, Grizzy finds a four-leaf clover that could turn his luck around especially when it's his chance to get rid of the Lemmings.
- Magnetic Bear: As the Lemmings trick Grizzy with a powerful magnet, he uses their shenanigans to impress his beloved she-bear.
- Bear Charm: Grizzy sparks a fairytale frenzy when he's convinced his she-bear turned into a frog. But the Lemmings have other plans for their new croaking friend so Grizzy try his best to get the Frog before the Frog will get hurt by the Lemmings.
- Moonwalk Bear: Grizzy and the Lemmings accidentally destroy the Earth and the Moon, and although they were shocked at first, they never shown remorse for what they did.

- The reason why Grizzy was named Grizzy instead of Grizzly is to make the name funnier.
- Grizzy actually like young animals and rodents but somehow hates Lemmings even when they're quite annoying like the other rodents.
- Grizzy easily has more failures than Oggy and possibly Taffy as Grizzy easily lose in the end of the episode while Oggy lost in most episodes but then succeeded on later episodes (or probably succeeded at the end of the episode of Oggy, it's almost the same thing for Taffy but he ALMOST failed depending on the episode).
