Groctar is a minor antagonist of the dark fantasy Korean manhwa and light novel series Solo Leveling. He is the leader of a group of warlord, the Red Blade, that assaulted an attack at the school that Sung Jinah, the younger sister of Sung Jinwoo, attends.
Biography[]
Groctar is told by one of his men that they are that three high orcs are protecting the humans. As a result he is disgusted to learn this, deciding to slaughter them himself as he grabs his sword, ready to fight them. Soon after, at the school, two of Groctar's men encourage their leader who points his blade at a high orc. He comments that the high orc has killed a large number upon seeing his tatoo and orders them to give a more interesting fight. His blade is blocked by another high orc who defends his comrade. Congratulating them for being able to block his attack, he swiftly slashes them to pieces but the body of the orc soon recovers completely, questioning Groctar if they are under a spell. Words soon starts to pop into his head that began to annoy him, leading him to guess that a sorcerer is nerby.
He then spots Jinha located behind the high orc and orders his men to capture her. Groctar seizes Jinha by the jaw and intends to kill her. But his action is stopped when he senses a presence that makes him tremble and immediately drops the girl to the ground. Looking toward the ceiling, he orders his men to retreat as he sense a terrifying presence that head toward them. Jinwoo blasts into the school alongside one of his shadow, Kaisel.
As he trembles in fear seeing Jinwoo, he introduces himself and asks for his name. Jinwoo, in response orders him to shut up and wait where he is. As Jinwoo consoles his sister, he looks toward Groctar. Groctar tries to asks him if the high orcs were his. With no answers in return, he orders his man to charge. One by one, Jinwoo easily slaughters all of them. Seeing all of his men dead, Groctar stands shocked before getting grabbed by Jinwoo by the jaw and be pinned back against the wall. Jinwoo looks on the hallway of the school with all the corpses of dead students before questioning the orc why does he go on rampage of killing humans. The orc replies that a voice in his head told him to do so with Jinwoo asking if that voice includes him. Instead of answering, the orc begs for his life. Stating that he forgives him, he lands a final blow with his blade, sending blood nearby on the ground.
