Ground Scaravich is one of the 8 Maverick bosses from Mega Man X6. He was a treasure hunter and one of Gate's sons. He would meet his first demise when Alia intercepted him, but Scaravich was later revived by his father to investigate the Nightmare Phenomenon.
Ground Scaravich's weapon is the Ground Dash, though Ground doesn't use it himself, instead preferring to roll stones around with his feet and throw them around. His weakness is the Yanmar Option.
Scaravich is a Reploid treasure hunter who stole relics from ruins, being hunted by the Maverick Hunters for damaging historical ruins. He was eventually hired by Gate, who supported his activities in exchange for all the information that Ground Scaravich obtained in his research. Gate eventually sent Scaravich to the forbidden ruins where X was found, so Alia was forced to intercept him and dispose of him, though Gate never seemed to care for Scaravich's fate. Gate would later revive him as one of his Nightmare Investigators and send him to research the Nightmare Phenomenon on the Central Museum, although Ground Scaravich would later meet his second demise when X fights his way through.
Battle[]
For most of the fight, Ground Scaravich just rolls a big rock around, sometimes stopping to shoot or to toss the rock at the player. As he loses energy, he will roll bigger rocks, eventually rolling rocks the size of the screen. His weakness is the Yammar Option, which destroys his boulders and sends him flying into the air, though Ground Scaravich will retreat to replace his stones. There are four possible sizes of the stones.

Etymology: Ground Scaravich earned his second name from the term "scarab".
Ground Scaravich's artwork depicts him stroking his moustache, just like Shining Hotarunicus.
He and Blaze Heatnix are said to be the easiest bosses in Mega Man X6, in spite of their difficult stages.
