| “ | Grysks are a species living somewhere in the Unknown Regions. Creatures half of myth, whom few have ever seen. It is said that they are nomads, with no fixed home, traveling in spacecraft so numerous they blot out the stars. They are said to be terrifying warriors, overwhelming their opponents by sheer numbers and ferocity. | „ |

The Grysk Hegemony are major antagonists in the epic space opera franchise Star Wars.
The Grysk Hegemony is the name attributed to the hegemony controlled by the nomadic and warlike Grysk species. The exact size of the Hegemony is unknown, as it tends to operate outside of the explored Galaxy away from prying eyes.
However, by the Imperial Era the Grysk Hegemony began advancing beyond its borders, even going as far as Imperial space. Naturally, the aggressive expansion the Hegemony implemented put it at odds with the Galactic Empire, the ruling government at the time.
In the two years leading up to the beginning of the Galactic Civil War, the Grysk Hegemony made several attempts to increase their hold on the borders of Imperial territory, only to be thwarted by Imperial Grand Admiral Thrawn and his allies.
