Guillotine Despar is a Robot Fighter of the Despar Army and an antagonist in episode 20 of Inazuman Flash.
He is voiced by Teiji Omiya, who also voiced Red Hakaider in Kikaider 01.
Biography[]
Guillotine Despar was remodeled under the direction of Sadespar, taking inspiration from the guillotine used in the French revolution to execute people.
Guillotine Despar is sent out by Führer Geisel.
He was first deployed following the defeat of Mixer Despar by Inazuman.
While staying at a villa near his hometown with Makoto Arai, Goro found a mysterious amnesiac woman and brought her there to rest, not knowing she was really a Despar spy named Teresa in disguise. At night, as Goro appeared to have fallen asleep while watching over her, Guillotine Despar suddenly appeared and attempted to kill Goro. However, Goro then revealed he had only been faking being asleep and became Sanagiman to protect the woman from Guillotine Despar. Believing the woman to be Guillotine Despar's target, Sanagiman stood in front of the woman so Guillotine Despar's blade would strike his back instead. Unable to decapitate Sanagiman without harming Teresa, Guillotine Despar left the scene.
Upon returning to the Despar HQ, Guillotine Despar was greeted by a displeased Führer Geisel over his failure to kill Goro. Sadespar attempted to whip Guillotine Despar, only for Guillotine Despar to cut his whip in half. Geisel then told Sadespar to stay back and decided to give Guillotine Despar another chance, just as Teresa entered the room to personally report to Geisel.
Goro and Makoto later came across Guillotine Despar executing a group of humans who washed up on the beach by chopping off their heads. He became Sanagiman to fight Guillotine Despar, but was unable to build up enough energy to become Inazuman before Guillotine Despar overpowered him and prepared to finish him off. Before Guillotine Despar could execute Goro however, Teresa got in the way and took the blow instead, having remembered that Goro was her childhood friend, and became wounded. Goro then used his intense emotions of her injury to become Inazuman and take on Guillotine Despar. After using his Denriki Kick to send Guillotine Despar flying, he used his Zeber to call a lightning strike on Guillotine Despar while he was still in the air and cause him to blow up after he hit the ground from being overcharged with energy.
