Gulpo is a minor antagonist in the Felix the Cat series, appearing in the episode "Felix Babysits". He is a large amoeba and the self proclaimed "King of the Blobs." Who attempts to devour Felix alive, after he had been shrunked down to the size of an atom.
He was voiced by Jack Mercer.

Gulpo is a giant, dark-green amoeba who wears a crown and smokes a cigar.
Biography[]
At the beginning of the episode, Felix sees a flashing sign saying baby sitter wanted. He then tells The Professor then tells Felix he is looking for someone to babysit his nephew Poindexter, Felix agrees to Babysit Poindexter. The Professor introduces Felix to Poindexter, after The Professor leaves. Felix reads Poindexter a bed time story, about advanced thermodynamics. Then Poindexter kids out of bed and decides to go play, with his chemistry set. Poindexter then tells Felix he made a drink for him, Felix drinks it then, then he shrinks to the size of a ant.
Poindexter then picks up Felix, and puts him on a microscope, but amoebas being to appear and swarm Felix, but they get scared after Gulpo shows up. Gulpo introduces himself to Felix, and tries to eat him. Poindexter acts fast and gets the fast grow, to get Felix back to normal size. Felix does grow back to size but Gulpo gets bigger and threatening Felix and Poindexter, Gulpo then grabs the fast grow, and drinks it whole. turning himself bigger and bigger, until he is a giant, but Felix acts quickly and grabs a potion nearby and throws it at Gulpo, causing him to shrink away to nothing, leaving only a crown behind.
