Gumbalina Toothington is a minor antagonist in the Netflix series adaptation of the Captain Underpants franchise, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, serving as the main antagonist of "The Ghastly Danger of the Ghost Dentist".
Gumbalina Toothington is an ghost dentist.
She is voiced by the late Dawn Wells.
Biography[]
Despite her appearing malevolent, she was not intentionally evil throughout the episode, she was just a good person who wanted everyone's mouths to be healthy. As before her death, she wanted people to floss and take care of their teeth, but the townsfolk didn't like her teeth-cleaning way, so they cast her into the woods, never to seen again. But after her death, her ghost haunts the woods seeking revenge and became into a villain as a result.
After George and Harold told a scary story about the ghost of Gumbalina Toothington to the campers for campfire story and Melvin Sneedly and Mr. Krupp run away, Melvin builds a machine to that a beings a ghost with DNA to create an real ghost of Gumbalina Toothington to scare the the kids.
However, George and Harold know about the plan, due to Melvin butt-dialing them. When Melvin and Mr. Krupp came with their ghost, Gumbalina believes that the kids don't brush their teeth and throws a ball at Jessica Gordon. All the kids don't believe that Gumbalina is real, but that all changes when the ball opens and Jessica gets trapped in a dental cage. Gumbalina traps more of the kids in dental cages, including Melvin. George and Harold are forced to snap their fingers to turn Mr. Krupp into Captain Underpants.
After Captain Underpants try to fight her, she uses a machine to try to extract Captain Underpants’s teeth, so George and Harold make her to cause them thorugh the woods, alway towards a cliff.
After Captain Underpants came, George and Harold realize that Gumbalina is just trying to take care of people’s teeth, and that her evil dental weapons she does, due she get carried away. So George and Harold let her to take care of people’s teeth and she will rest in peace.
But Captain Underpants refused too at first, but goes with it anyway, after Captain Underpants turns back into Mr. Krupp, George and Harold found their peferct camp fire story anyway.
Appearance[]
Her appearance is all blue as a ghost, with her clothes tattered.
As a human, she was portrayed as a short elderly woman with a black and white (maid? pilgrim?) dress, buckled black shoes. Her hair is tied into a bun.
Personality[]
Her personality is at first seen very murderous, yet it's revealed she only wanted to make everyone's teeth well. Due to this, her overall personality is unknown.
