Gummy Bear is a major antagonist of the Roblox video game Bee Swarm Simulator, appearing as the titular deuteragonist of the "Gummy Invasion" event and the overarching antagonist of the game since the event ended. A traveling bear who seeks to spread his goo across the universe, he wishes to do so by any means necessary.
Appearance[]
Gummy Bear is, as the name implies, an anthropomorphic bear made entirely of gumdrops. He is purple with cyan limbs and features.
Personality[]
Gummy Bear is a warlord, through and through. He admits pleasure in taking over the world using his gumdrops, and he openly admits that he is currently causing an invasion in his opening dialogue. Gummy Bear feels an intrinsic connection to anything his goo takes over, thus necessitating that he covers everything in the substance. In fact, some players might not even be willing to be evil with him and only participate because he promised a free bee.
Gummy Bear's obsession with the substance even reflects his dialogue, as Gummy Bear constantly makes puns based on the word "goo", inserting the word whenever it's possible.
The only person that Gummy Bear seems to have any attachment for is his Gummy Bee, citing that because they're made of the same material, they are practically one in the same.
Biography[]
Gummy Bear was first introduced on May 26, 2018, stationed at the base of the mountain with a Gummy Cannon in tow. Gummy Bear constantly fires his cannon all over the mountain to spread his goo across the fields of flowers, causing bonus honey to be produced to whoever collects it. Meeting up with Gummy Bear will cause him to assign the player one of fifteen quests, recruiting them into his Gumdrop army. After completing all of his quests, Gummy Bear rewards the player with a Gummy Bee Egg upon completion. Gummy Bear had supposedly left the game on June 24, 2018.
Some time after Gummy Bear's departure, a giant statue of Gummy Bee has been made, which gifts players a Gummy Bee if they bring enough gumdrops to it and don't already have one. However, after obtaining the "Goo Hotshot" badge, a player can use a gumdrop when on the statue to reveal that Gummy Bear had never left. Walking up to him without either the Gummy Mask or Gummy Boots will cause him to kill the player after a brief monologue. If they have either piece of equipment, they can hold a short conversation with Gummy Bear, with the bear letting the player go.
During the "Beesmas" event, if the player is able to talk to Gummy Bear, he will give out a new quest. Gummy Bear expresses his dislike towards the winter holiday's extended welcome, and so he tasks the player with intentionally ruining the festive spirit by spreading goo all over the decorations in order to bring about the "Goo Year". After completing this quest, the player unlocks the "Gummy Siege" ability, allowing Gummy Bear to fire his cannon continuously every eight hours.
