Biography[]
At a young age, Gunn poured about three gallons of sodium cyanide in the water source of her village in France, poisoning and killing every resident including her parents. Afterwards, she left for Paris, but longed for the countryside again to get away from people. She met Hélène who offered her countryside in exchange for employment, to which Gunn agreed. She then underwent training from Konstantin Vasiliev, who considered her to be a highly talented assassin and she began completing contract kills for the Twelve. As a reward, Hélène gave Gunn her own private island in Scotland, where she could live as she see fit. On the island, she lived freely in a cabin and hunted wild animals for food.
Years later, Gunn was tasked by Helene to interrogate high-ranking Twelve agents, hoping to find their superiors. During these interrogations, Gunn brutally tortured them and would kill them if they didn't provide any useful information. On one occasion, a man was tied up in a farm, his feet had been dipped in salt and goats allowed to lick them raw. On another occasion, she tortured a man by flaying him alive. Only one of her targets, Rustem Zimmel whose toes were severed and shoved up his nostrils, survived the attack and later described her as a bitch and a beast.
Eventually, Hélène had Gunn kill Villanelle while Eve Polastri watched, as punishment for Eve kidnapping her daughter. However, Gunn had developed an obsession with Villanelle and had secretly wanted to get out from under Hélène's thumb. Therefore she shot Villanelle with a crossbow in her back and intentionally missed so she would survive. After Villanelle was shot, she noticed Eve cradle her and was curious as to know of their connection. Afterwards, Gunn anonymously approached Villanelle and gave her painkillers with the location of Hélène's hotel. This gave Villanelle the chance to kill her as revenge. Back on her island, Gunn was hunting when she saw Villanelle who said her back still hurts. The two then fight before eventually falling down a slope, laughing afterwards. She then allows Villanelle to stay with her.
Gunn later attacked and kidnapped a fisherman in his boat near the island, dragging him to her shed next to her cabin. As she readied her knives, Villanelle arrives. Gunn explains that he's been trespassing on her shores and killing her fish, and proceeds to fillet him. They then go on a hunt where Villanelle notices Gunn is using the crossbow she shot her with. That evening, they eat on their food next to a fire and Gunn asks about Eve. Villanelle claims she is nobody but Gunn is unconvinced. Villanelle asks if she gets lonely and Gunn says she's got her animals since they are good company and humans are dreadful. When asked why she wanted Helene dead, Gunn explained her backstory and knew Helene was using her. She also chuckled after explaining what poisoned her village, revealing she was the one responsible. The two continued to have a long talk and laughed before then kissing.
The next morning, Gunn was working out when Villanelle woke up. Villanelle noticed that Gunn had destroyed her boat, who explained that she needed firewood despite having plenty. Villanelle asked where her things were and Gunn brought her inside the cabin, saying this was her new home. As Villanelle sat down and Gunn poured her tea, she sniffed her hair perversely. When Villanelle wonders what happens to Gunn with Hélène being dead, she isn't worried since she works for the Twelve. When Villanelle attempts to leave and kill as many Twelve members as she can for her own freedom, Gunn values her freedom on her island and they granted her that despite it being a small price. She then stops Villanelle from getting her stuff, promising to slowly rip her apart if she threatened her way of life. Villanelle then bolted outside, prompting Gunn to pursue her with her machete.
As Gunn calmly searched for Villanelle, she spots Eve nearby and chases her instead. After catching up and pinning her to the ground, Gunn claims that Villanelle is hers alone. Eve fights back and hits her with a rock and escapes. Gunn gets up, taunting her by whistling and calmly threatening to kill her for trespassing. Eve then jumps on her and pins her to the ground, before using her fingers to blind Gunn as the assassin screamed in pain. Eve left, thinking that she wasn't a problem and approached Villanelle. Gunn however could still barely see and chases them off the island, screaming out Villanelle's name. Since she was greatly weakened, Gunn was unable to stop them from leaving, screaming that she would kill them both. She is never seen again afterwards.

Trivia[]
- Given that she filleted the fisherman and pulled out his innards, readied her knives just before Villanelle arrived and readied her machete to Eve's face, it is implied that Gunn may be a cannibal given her dislike for humans.
