|~ Gus Gorilla|
Gus Gorilla is a minor antagonist of the 2021 horror thriller film Willy's Wonderland.
He is an animatronic gorilla who was once a friendly children's entertainer and later gets possessed by a serial killer in devouring everyone along with Willy Weasel and the other animatronics.
He was portrayed by Billy Bussey and voiced by Mark Gagliardi.
In 1996, Gus Gorilla was once a friendly animatronic along with Willy Weasel and others. However, Jerry Willis, the original owner of Willy's Wonderland, and his team of serial killers wore mascot suits of the establishment's mascots to kill several families in The Super Happy Fun Room. Before the police investigated, Jerry and the killers killed themselves in a Satanic suicidal ritual, preventing them from being captured. After that, their souls had been transferred into the animatronics. It is believed that an employee who wore overalls and had a larger build possessed Gus.
Ten years later, Willy's Wonderland was reopened by the new owner, Tex Macadoo, to keep the people unaware of this horrific past. Suddenly, the animatronics (possessed by serial killers) have man-eating behaviors to attack and even children. In one instance, we see a flashback of a little girl hugging Gus, who grabs the child and shakes her without letting her go. The result of this attack is unknown but is implied that the girl escaped his grasp and runs away from the restaurant. After more children were either found dead, frightened, or injured, Willy's had been permanently shutdown once again.
In this present, the quiet protagonist is hired to be the janitor at the old abandoned Willy's Wonderland to clean everything for the rest of the night so his car's wheels will be fixed by the next morning.
After midnight, Gus is the second animatronic to become active and plays hide-and-seek with the Janitor in the restroom. The Janitor plays along and checks each stall, but Gus surprises him from above and attacks him. When he throws the protagonist into the stall, the Janitor arms with a plunger to stick into Gus and goes on a crazy rampage, knocking Gus all over the walls. The Janitor stuffs Gus into a urinal and repeatedly kicks the robotic gorilla in a bloody rage, killing Gus. After the crazy fight, the Janitor carries out Gus' corpse into a garbage bag along with Ozzie Ostrich.
- Gus was the second animatronic to become active and get killed by the Janitor in the film.
- Besides the people in flashbacks, Gus and Ozzie are the only animatronics who didn't kill any of the human characters since they were the first to be killed by the Janitor.
