Yo, that's the G-Man to you!
~ Gus Turner.
Well, because without my scintillating personality, your life would be dull as dishwater! With no conflict, there'd be no subplot, with no subplot, there's no character development!
~ Gus tells Tommy why they're friends, one of his most famous quotes.

Augustus Bachmann Turner, better known as Gus Turner, or by his self-titled moniker The G-Man, is the tritagonist of Robotboy. He is gross and rude boy coming from an Amish family, who is one of Robotboy and Tommy's best friends. He is the archenemy of Felonious Hexx, started when he ruined his career as a magician and destroyed his magic show.

While he is a hero, he often acts destructively and selfishly, causing several of the problems in the series either due to his stupidity and/or tendency to act rude toward others.

He was voiced by Rupert Degas, who also voiced Constantine, Klaus Von Affenkugel, Gilbert and many others in the same series.

Appearance[]

Gus is a fat boy with orange hair wearing a blue shirt with white stripes and a stylised "G", blueish-grey pants and white-grey shoes.

Personality[]

Despite coming from an Amish family, Gus ironically has none of their typical traits, being obsessed with food, greedy, unpleasant and very modern. He's obsessed with video games as well. He regularly uses Robotboy for his own benefit, and doesn't usually care about the negative consequences of his actions. He is noted as being very dim-witted, to the point a pigeon is shown to be smarter than him. Whenever he's in possession of Robotboy, Gus takes every advantage of him by which involves getting him in trouble little but no regrets.

Villainous Acts[]

  • In "Sweet Revenge", he uses Robotboy for his own benefit by forcing him to find "Kazi-Crunch Bars", making him go on a rampage.
  • In "The Boy Who Cried Kamikazi", he lies to Robotboy and uses him to constantly freeze everyone in the school to get out of work.
  • In "Gus' Mix" he steals a strength-giving formula Moshimo gave to Tommy that was supposed to just be for Robotboy, but if drunk by humans makes them large and strong so he could make money off it.
  • In "Attack of the Killer G-Men", despite he saved Tommy and Robotboy from his clones, Gusbots made by Kamikaze, he raided an ice-cream shop with the Gusbots who now follows him out of worship.
  • In "Clammadon Rising", he accidentally releases the giant radioactive clam Clammadon from his slumber under Tokyo, causing it to go on a rampage and start destroying the city. Despite this, he's only mad because Clammadon ate his trophy and doesn't show care for the city or anyone else's lives. He does end up killing Clammadon from the outside, but it's only for the sake of his trophy.
  • In "RoboGus and the G-Machine", after he and Robotboy swapped bodies, Gus began abusing the robot's power for selfish purposes which led to Robotboy getting into a fight with Kurt and his friends before returning to his own body.
  • In "Remote Out of Control", he kidnaps Robotboy so he can use him to watch television, only (because RB copies what's on the TV attached to him, in this case, an alien movie) to make him go on a rampage and start destroying the city with intent to wipe out the nation's capital, something Gus later on even states he doesn't care about
  • In "Automatommy", he uses the Superactivation Belt to rob a candy factory, only for it to go rogue and pour chocolate all over him.
  • In "The Revenge of Protoboy", he leaves an old man to die when the cruise ship starts to sink.
