Gustavo Guerrero (also known as Don Gustavo) is a major antagonist in the Filipino prime time series FPJ's Batang Quiapo serving as the overarching antagonist in the Revelation and Political Arc.
He was the former Mayor of Manila, and leader of the Guerrero Crime Family who were close associates of Ramon Montenegro and Don Julio Montenegro. He is also responsible for raping Matilde Asuncion, making him an estranged father of Marites Dimaguiba and maternal grandfather of Tanggol Montenegro, David A. Dimaguiba, and Santino Dimaguiba.
He is portrayed by Dante Rivero. In his younger years, he was portrayed by Jhong Hilario, who also played Homer Adlawan in FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.
Personality[]
He is introduced as a manipulative and egocentric man, where it is shown that he wants everyone is in his own control through his decisions. His controlling personality also ruins his bonds to his family especially to his own daughter (which later turned out to be not his biological daughter) Olivia Guerrero Torres, as he underestimates her and sees her as useless for his plan to take over his family’s power choosing his grandson Miguelito instead to be the next Mayor of Manila despite unready to face the latter’s responsibility to become the Mayor.
He is also a hypocrite individual, as he is seen to be affable to his own townspeople to conceal his true nature as a vile, egotistical, power-hungry, and manipulative man who is only obsessed with domination and privilege in his own town instead of genuinely caring his townspeople.
At some point, he was also seen to be perverted man as he molested one of his loyal staff Tindeng making him the estranged father of Marites Dimaguiba.

Past[]
Born to the Guerrero clan, he organized a crime syndicate involved in racketeering. One night he seduced Pilar and was caught by her parents forcing him to marry her. Days later, he abducted Matilde on her supposed day of her wedding and raped her once again making him responsible for impregnating her to their daughter Marites. He then offered Matilde to share his wealth with their soon to be child, but Matilde rejected him.

Revelation and Political Arc[]
Years later, he retired as a Mayor of Manila and made his son Roberto to inherit his position as the Mayor of Manila and assigned Olivia to be the Vice Mayor of Manila. He meets with the Montenegros in a party that was organized by Ramon Montenegro to formally introduce Tanggol Montenegro, a long-lost child of the Montenegros. Unknown to him, Tanggol was his estranged grandson. On the same event, he also announced that his grandson Miguelito will be his successor as the Mayor of Manila instead of Olivia causing the latter to have an outburst in the party. As his family reached home, he confronted Olivia for causing a scene in front of the Montenegros and Miguelito for being undesired to take over as a Mayor of Manila. The next day, he went to visit Quiapo Church with his family as one of the family’s campaigns in town. Coincidentally, Tindeng saw him once again causing her to run away in the church reminding her of her dark past with him.
One day, he meets with the Montenegros again at the pier to have transaction with Mr. Kwoon, the Montenegros business partner in East Asia. Alarmed by the raid of NADCOM, Ramon and his son Roberto exchanged fists and pointed gun to each other after the former falsely accused the latter of the surprised attack of NADCOM. Not so long, as NADCOM open fires at their group he managed to get away with his family, as well as the Montenegros.
He was seen in Miguelito’s filing of candidacy alongside with his family. Shortly after Tanggol was arrested to the commotion he caused in the filing by seriously beating Miguelito, he threatens Olivia and finally disowns him as his daughter for betraying the Guerreros.
