Guyborg GX-9 (ガイボーグGX-9 Gaibōgu GX-9), real name Eiji (エイジ), is an antagonist in Shichisei Toshin Guyferd episode 13 "Assassination Command GX-9".
He is a Guyborg working for Crown who is ordered to kill three people who have data on Crown's leader Zodiac. However, his life change upon meeting a researcher named Misa Sudo, which led to redeem himself and got killed by Metal Master.
He was portrayed by Yoshiyuki Yamaguchi.
Biography[]
When he was young, Eiji was abandoned at the orphanage by his mother where he hard a hard time grewing up there due to being bullied relentlessly, which is why he wanted to get stronger. As he reach adulthood, he joined Crown and was converted into Guyborg GX-9 and became a skilled assassin.
He was ordered by Zodiac, Metal Master and Metal Shion to kill three people who had the information about the Crown. That night, he killed a man who was later found dead at the elevator. The next morning, he killed another man at the parking lot. He then followed a researcher named Misa Sudo after she left Gou, Dr. Shiroishi and Detective Nakano. Later that night, he followed Misa until they ended up at the park. He ambushed in front of Misa and seize her. After he snatched her necklace, he began to remember his own mother. However, Gou arrived and fought him. He later flew away after Misa screaming for help. He went back to Crown's lair and informed his failure which he got a scold from Metal Master. Before they could have a fight, Shion then gave him another chance. After GX-9 left, Zodiac then discussed what they could do to him behind his back.
He went to the building and kidnapped Misa before leaving a letter to Gou to invite him to an abandoned orphanage for a fight. While holding her hostage, he tells her his pitiful backstory which she felt sorry for him. When Misa convinced him to let go of his hatred and sadness inside of him, Gou arrived at the orphanage and went to confront him and tried to reasoned with him without any confrontation whatsoever. Realized that Misa is attacked by Metal Master, he defended her from him which ended up getting brutally wounded by him, causing Gou to get angry and fought him. While lying down on her arms, he tells his real name to Misa. Hearing the beeping sound inside of him, he quickly runs outside and told Misa to stay away from him before he explodes to death. Gou and Misa cannot help but felt sorry for him.
