Guyborgs are cybernetic supersoldiers created by Crown and antagonists in Shichisei Toshin Guyferd.
History[]
The Guyborgs were envisioned by Minoh and developed by his team parallel to development of the Mutians by Shion and her team, both of which were part of Crown's "Ultimate Trooper" projects. The Guyborgs were produced by having human test subjects underwent a remodeling procedure that gave them cybernetic enhancements. Several were used as security in Crown compounds, while others were used as field agents. Following the breakthroughs made by the Fallah research division of Crown, Guyborgs began being used as test subjects for Fallah research as well. Among those kidnapped and converted into a Guyborg was Gou Kazama, who was also dosed with Fallah. When Jarks broke out of his compound, Gou was able to escape as well and channel the Fallah he was infused with to become the bio-mechanical warrior Guyferd.
Minoh's team would later develop mass-production variants of the Guyborgs called Fangs, which Crown quickly began using as footsoldiers. Crown would also continue experimenting with infusing Guyborgs with Fallah, with the goal of creating a warrior similar to Guyferd. They would eventually perfect the process and produce a counter to Guyferd in Deathferd, who was created from Gou's older brother Masato.
Crown would later use the Guyborgs as subjects to create the Metalferds, who were Guyborgs that underwent the perfected process of Fallah infusion and were converted into bio-cyborgs. Regular Guyborgs would continue to be used by Crown as elite combatants and assassins.
