Gwendolyn James is the head of the local PTA and the main antagonist of the comedy film Bad Moms. She is extremely bossy and proposes absurd rules, such as having year-round school with no weekends or breaks.
When Amy Mitchell refuses to follow Gwendolyn's orders out of sheer frustration from being a mom, Gwendolyn starts a personal vendetta against her. After Amy decides to run against her as head of the PTA, she uses her influence to have Amy's daughter Jane kicked off the soccer team and later plants drugs in Jane's locker.
At the PTA election, Amy delivers a passionate speech about how it's okay for mothers to be imperfect, and wins in a landslide. She later sees Gwendolyn crying in her car, lamenting that her life is a mess and that the PTA is the only good thing about it. She apologizes for incriminating Jane and makes peace with Amy, even taking her and her friends for a joyride in her husband's private jet the next day.
