Gypsy is the main antagonist of "Hex and the City", a segment from the Simpsons episode "Treehouse of Horror XII".
She is a fortune teller who curses Homer and his family with different fates after he trashed her shop as he called her a fake. However, when she meets a leprechaun, she falls in love with him and the two are married, despite the curse only being undone if Homer apologized to her.

Gypsy is an elderly woman with black hair, ear rings, a green and blue fortune teller outfit, a necklace as well as a red bandane on her head.
Personality[]
Not much is shown of her personality in the segment, but she hates being insulted as a fake fortune teller, despite being a real one, and curses those who insult her and destroy her shop. She is also known to have paranoia.
Biography[]
Gypsy is first seen when the Simpsons visit her shop. She then makes sure that Marge isn't a cop. However, at the sight of Homer, she predicts that she shouldn't check on him, causing Homer to attack her, calling her a fake and a fraud as he tries to unmask her with a wart on her nose, only to get several warts on his hand in the process, which angers Gypsy who asks him to leave. He later causes the whole shop to be destroyed after accidentally knocking things around and starting a fire. This causes Gypsy to put a curse on the whole family as revenge. Homer laughs at the curse, however, calling it a joke, despite Marge's warnings.
Several days later, the curse was actually shown to be true, as Marge grew a beard and mustache, Lisa turned into a centaur and Maggie into a ladybug, while Bart's neck becomes extremely long after he gets strangled by Homer. To get rid of the curse, Moe suggests them to capture a leprechaun. However, as Homer still considers the curse as joke, Lenny and Carl are both killed by an helicopter and Moe is stuffed inside his own jar. After multiple attempts of capturing a leprechaun, they finally succeeded and brings him inside the now-repaired Gypsy's Shop, causing a fight between the two, only for them to fall in love with each other and later get married. Gypsy then tells Homer that he must apologize for trashing her shop to undo the curse, but Homer declines and declares that she isn't his boss.
