| ~ Héctor |
Héctor Krawietz is one of the three main antagonists (alongside Emilia Krawietz and Luis Marín) in the eighth and final season of the Netflix series Elite.
Héctor was the president of the Alumni Society and a extremely wealthy former student from Las Encinas, who became obsessed with Joel.
He was portrayed by Nuno Gallego.
Personality[]
Héctor is self-centered and mostly interested in fame, fortune, and publicity rather than helping others. In fact, he displays a remarkable lack of empathy for most of people. He is arrogant, narcissistic, obsessive, hypocritical, ruthless, careless, perverted, sexist, and immature. Because of the fortune and influences of his parents, he believes that he is superior to the others.
He develops obsessive feelings for Joel and fills him with a desire to have sex with him and be loved by him. He shows little to no remorse for his crimes against Omar. However, behind his arrogant persona, Héctor loved Joel (in his own way), being heartbroken when he was killed in his party. But he takes little to no responsibility for his death and instead blames his own sister for the crime. Héctor also inflicts psychological and physical pain upon his sister.
Biography[]
Season 8[]
Héctor was president of the Alumni club, an influential association for former students of Las Encinas. The organization for alumni was built on the pillars of "pleasure, liberty, and contacts".
The Krawietzes are one of the top ten families many people consider the de facto owners of Spain. They amassed their fortune in the '60s, with a little help from Jorge Rafael Videla during the Civil War. Videla ruled Spain for many years. During his dictatorship, several families raked it in. Even more so after his death, like the Krawietzes. They own construction companies, banks, hotels, airlines, investment funds, Supermarkets, soccer teams, and law firms.
Héctor eventually becomes dangerously fixated on Joel, initially through Instagram and soon later when they meet face to face at the Alumni club on Las Encinas. This obsession escalates into a sexual attraction once Joel reciprocates Héctor's sexual advances, that leads to a short-lived hook‑up. Héctor’s jealousy escalates, especially when Joel shows interest in others. His behavior becomes increasingly paranoid and controlling.
When Joel is tragically murdered at a party Héctor hosts, he discovers Joel' body and spirals into shock, confusion and blame, initially accusing Emilia rather than accept responsibility. Beyond his personal obsessions, Héctor orchestrates psychological and physical harm, and leads a group to physically assault Omar, who becomes one of the few capable of standing up to his oppressive sway.
Héctor was eventually arrested in the wake of the murder and Omar offers to help him get released for a confession, but Héctor attempts to manipulate the situation using his influence. Eventually, Héctor and his sister are released and plan to move to Milan, as Las Encinas prepares to shut down.
