The Hack-O-Ween Balloons are minor antagonists of the Netflix series adaptation of the Captain Underpants franchise, The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants, serving as one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Evil Living Halloween Decorations) of the Halloween special "The Heartbreaking Havoc of the Haunting Hack-O-Ween".
After Melvin and Mr. Krupp cancel halloween, and later made it illegal, Goerge and Harold created Hack-O-Ween, a re-version of Halloween to do it beautifully legal. That was the final straw for Melvin, so he zap some balloons with his Inanamiantor 2000, which accidentally fly it in the process, and leaving the balloon monsters to destroy the city.
Later, George and Harold finally found out Melvin hates halloween and the reason he make it illegal in the first place which is due to being lonely and he never went trick-or-treating (or, in this instance, Sneak-or-Snacking), so they decided to make things right by asking if he wanted join them and they are not tricking him this time.
Finally, Melvin told them that he was angry and he wanted revenge and he brought those Hack-O-Ween balloons to life, since Mr. Krupp was already turned into Captain Underpants, George, Harold, Captain Underpants and Melvin pop the balloons to defeat them.
