Hades is a major antagonist in Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia. It is a Bakugan used by Shadow Prove that is a robotic version of Hydranoid.

Appearance

With a mainly gray body with black and purple highlights, Hades has a expected set of three identical heads, necks, wings, and tails. Each head is supported by a spiny, long neck, with a large, purple horn, four matching eyes, and a large frill at the back of their head. Each neck goes down to a bipedal, draconic body with a metal frame, while also having six large wings, a spiked stomach, humanoid hands ending in claws, clawed feet, and three long, barbed tails. Mylene Farrow refers to it as junk.

Biography

Hades first appears to battle Shun and his Ingram on there way to Beta City, disguised as Hydranoid, which Shun thinks is being brainwashed. During the second round, Ingram rips off the skin of Hades, revealing its true nature. Shun swears to break the thing apart, but fails due to Fortress assisting Hades and causing Shun's defeat.

In Beta City, he teams up with Elico to battle Drago and Nemus. He struggles in the first round, but he eventually manages to knock out Nemus in the second round. In the end, he loses to Drago after he uses a new perfect core ability. Hades and Elico later guard Gamma City and battle Ingram and Elfin. This time, it is entirely outmatched by Ingram's ability to duplicate, confusing its sensors and leaving it open to multiple critical attacks. Ultimately, Ingram and Elfin's teamwork lead both Hades and Elico to a second defeat together.

Hades is challenged by Fortress and even its own "predecessor" Hydranoid, who aims solely to destroy his impostor. Soon, Hades was frozen by the Rank Zero Gate Card until Hydranoid rips Hades into dozens of pieces, finally annihilating it for good. However. Shadow still beats Alice and Chan Lee thanks to MAC Spider.

Triva

• Hades was the only remaining Bakugan of the Vexos' original ensemble that persevered briefly into the second arc of Bakugan Battle Brawlers: New Vestroia while still under their possession.
• Hades was the only mechanical Bakugan that was not destroyed by a Vestal brawler.
• Hades was the only Bakugan of the Vexos other than Helios to whose G Power wasn't set at five hundred, instead being set at six hundred.
