The Hades Beast Fungus is a minor antagonist of Mahou Sentai Magiranger, appearing in Episode 7 as the main antagonist. The Hades Beast Fungus is a mushroom-themed monster that was sent to the surface realm by Wolzard.
Biography[]
The Hades Beast Fungus made its first appearance in a nearby town, as its siblings come to witness the three civilians transforming into dust after getting affected by the poisonous spores that it produced. Due to this, the siblings transformed and the battle between them begins.
Some time later, during the magic battle, Fungus produced some red spores at the team, and as they're nearly overwhelmed by this attack, this gave Fungus the opportunity to strike at them.
After this, they were at the cliff side as the battle still rages on, and as it looks like they're about to be eliminated, Urara used some magic of hers to rush towards the beast, as the reason behind this was that they used this potion to help a sleeping Kai, but instead it enhances his speed. With Kai now awake, the real battle begins as Fungus summoned a couple of Zobils to battle the siblings. However, they were all wiped out, so in a panic, Fungus began to flee for his life as the siblings chased after it and they blocked its path, making this beast to surrender.
Thankfully, to some dark magic that was used, Fungus then grown to giant size, prompting the team to transform into their titan form and battle the giant beast. After another fight, it was then burned to ash by Magin Kick.
