The Hades Beast Manticore is the minor antagonist of Mahou Sentai Magiranger, appearing in Episode 8 as the main antagonist. The Hades Beast Manticore is the manticore-themed monster, that was sent to the Surface Realm by Wolzard.
Biography[]
Hades Beast Manticore first appeared in the city when a cheerleader felt in snow in the movie set and her coach told her not to give up. When she went to the trailer, Manticore appeared and controlled her like a puppet. She screamed as Manticore revealed himself.
Later Manticore appeared again and forced people to dance in the forest. He had one young man dance up to him. Magirangers arrived and Tsubasa blasted the monster and released the people. Urara took people to safety, while the Magirangers fought the villain. Urara tried to splash Manticore, but he got out of the way and Kai got splashed by the water. Manticore then hid in the tree and Tsubasa tried to blast him, but the monster ran away.
In the Infershia, Nei & Mea were upset at Magirangers and wanted Manticore to eat them.
Later Manticore appeared again and Magirangers arrived to fight him. Manticore attacked the Ozu brothers. Houka arrived and changed into the laundry hanger thing and deflected the Manticore's attacks. However Manticore then used his main ability and forced the Magirangers dance, while Vancuria watched.
Manticore then forced Houka to come closer to him and tried to eat her, but Urara arrived, covered the face of the monster with cloak, and kicked him, freeing the siblings from his spell. Magirangers then transformed and received a new spell to fight the monster. Houka and Urara received pom-poms and did the "Magical Sisters Dance" to destroy Manticore, punching him down and making him explode.
After Manticore was revived and enlarged by Wolzard, thus Magirangers became Majin and formed the MagiDragon. Kai climbed on the top of MagiDragon and when the Dragon let go fire, Kai kicked it and destroyed the Manticore.
