The Hades Beast Skeleton is the minor antagonist of Mahou Sentai Magiranger, appearing in Episode 13 as the minor character and in Episode 15 as the primary antagonist. He is the skeleton themed monster and is one Three Solitary Confinement Hades Beasts at the service of Infershia. He was sent to the Surface Realm by Branken to attack Tokyo after the failure of Ogre and Ghoul. He was teleported to the Surface Realm by Wolzard and was tasked by Branken to kidnap as many people in Tokyo as possible and destroy the Magirangers. Skeleton used his "Red Skull Curse" attack to make people he encounters vanish in thin air within a matter of time while he siphons their life-force. He was also unable to be tracked normally like other Infershians except with the Tell-Me Thermin. He could reassemble himself by using his red skull when he is blown apart.
He was voiced by Katsumi Shiono.
Biography[]
Skeleton first appeared in Episode 13. He was introduced to Branken, along with his comrades Ogre and Ghoul. This three Hades Beasts were taken from Infershia underground pison and were chosen by fighting each other to bring the best. This Hades Beasts were the most powerful of all and possessed an ability to travel to the Surface without the Madou Circles.
After the defeat of his comrades Ogre and Ghoul, Skeleton was chosen to attack the Surface Realm. He was sent by Wolzard to the Surface World and was tasked by Branken to kidnap as many people in Tokyo as possible and also destroy the Magirangers if they would try to interfere. Before the events of the episode Skeleton had already kidnapped multiple people in the city by using his "Red Skull Curse" and making people he encountered vanish in the thin air within a matter of time while he siphons their life-energy. Skeleton first appeared in the city when two schoolgirls walked at the street and talked about him, talking about the red skull who made people vanish in the air, by cursing them. One of the girls has such a mark and wanted to be saved. She then disappeared, sending her friend running right into the monster. His eyes glowed red. His skull opened up to reveal a red skull. Kai heard of this from Mandora-Boy. This Hades beast probably didn't get detected by their MagiPhone.
Later, when Houka was supposed to marry Tetsuya, the Ozu siblings were preparing the wedding stuff and suddenly the Theremin ring rang. Kai was about to call Houka but Makito did't let him. Skeleton attacked the city and brought down an entire building. Houka transformed and fought the monster alone. She called for MagiPunch and avoided his blasts and knocked him away. Skeleton collapsed into pieces when the others arrived. His skull glowed. And he was rebuilt. The monster shot Houka down and she un-transfomed. However, Houka declared that she wouldn't give up and continue fight. Skeleton then left and teleported away.
Later, when Ozu siblings were already orchestrating the wedding, but Skeleton returned and again attacked the city. Makito decided to defeat the monster alone and went after Skeleton. Before leaving Makito forbided Mandora-Boy to telk the others about it, because he didn't want the wedding ruined. Skeleton was wrecking havoc in the city and Vancuria watched him, taking pleasure from the sight of destruction. Then Makito arrived and started fighting Skeleton, bringing him up with vines and then letting him go to split up. Skeleton rebuilt himself and blasts MagiGreen down.
At the wedding, Houka wondered where did Makito go and why he was absent. Suddenly, the phones of the siblings rang and echo. It was Mandora-Boy, who broke his promise to Makito. He shows Houka the image of Green being beat up. Houka left the wedding, going to help her brother. Makito was beaten by Skeleton, knocked out of his armor and injured. Houka came to her brother and told him that without him she couldn't get married. After this, Makito and Houka transformed and Houka turned into the cannon, and launched Makito to strike Skeleton, destroying him completely.
Later, the other Rangers arrived and Skeleton grew giant. The Rangers formed MagiKing and fought the monster. They did the Phantom Illusion on Skeleton and he collapsed. He rebuilt himself and blasted the heroes. However, Magirangers got a new code. Makito got in the center and with Houka and they performed the new spell Magical Shower. Everything became dark and a red beam from above melted Skeleton's bones, destroying the villain.
