Hades Beastman King of Hell Kobold Bullrates was the second in command of the Four Kings of Hell and a major antagonist in Mahou Sentai Magiranger. He was a supporting antagonist in episodes 27 and 28, one of the main antagonists of episodes 29, 30 and the main antagonist of episode 31.
He was voiced by Takeshi Aono in his only Super Sentai role.

Past[]
During the great war, the Kings of Hell were one of the most powerful servants of N Ma and helped their master in conquering the Earth and Magitopia. They fought the Heavenly Saints and it was mentioned that at some point they fought Blagel and heavily wounded him. Eventually the demons were destroyed by Heavenly Saints and banished to the Underworld.
Magiranger[]
The Kings of Hell are later revived by Sorcery Priest Meemy to serve him and do his bidding. Meemy tasks the Kings with destroying the Magirangers and conquering the Surface World but Saurai is chosen to be the first to fight the Magirangers. After Shichijuurou is defeated in battle, Bullrates watches the heroes from afar and collects Samurai's power by absorbing it into his staff.
After Neries is defeated after the battle with the Magirangers, Bullrates collected her power from her remains and absorbed it into his staff, becoming again more powerful. With Neries dead, Meemy tasks Bullrates and Zee with a plan of destroying the Surface Realm by freezing it. At night in Tokyo, Bullrates meets Zee and they create a large block called Evil Ice. Houka spots Bullrates and runs to the place where the villains meet. Bullrates plans to feed the Evil Ice with human life energy and the bubbles made it bigger. Houka confronts the two demons so Zee tells Blurates to take care of her before leaving. Bullrates de-powers Houka with his bubbles and she runs off but a bubble follows and engulfs her which gives her amnesia. She turns and finds Bullrates but Hikaru arrives and zaps her. Bullrates then introduces himself to MagiShine before another bubble engulfs Houka and he vanishes.
In the Infershia, Nai and Mea say that Bullrates called them on their Wolzaphones before telling Houka go is more fun. Later, Bullrates attacks Tokyo again and starts collecting the life energy from the citizens of the city. The Magirangers arrived, without Houka, and start fighting Bullrates. The Kobold demon attacks the Rangers with his blasts before Hikaru tries to attack Bullrates with the MagiLamp but Zee arrives and stos Sungel's attacks. The Rangers start fighting Zee with their attacks but he easily deflects them back with his shield. Zee easily defeats the Rangers and Bullrates boosts his partner with the power of their fallen comrades before the two demons leave with the stolen life energy.
Later, Bullrates again attacks the city and Vancuria enlarges him before the Magirangers arrive on their Sky Hokis and became MagiKing. The heroes fight Bullrates and he attacks them with magic rocks from his Buru Staff but Houka receives a new spell and the sword of MagiKing is charged with fire. The Magirangers then cut the rocks and, with the Mahou Hope slash, they break Bullrates's Buru Staff so the villain shrinks down and retreats. The siblings later follow Bullrates and fight him but the villains easily overpower them and escape. However, Houka's memories return to her and she tells her team the plans of Infershia of destroying the world by freezing it so the Magirangers The Rangers find the Evil Ice.
Kai tries to slice the Evil Ice, but he slides off it before Zee arrives and easily defeats the Magirangers to stop them from destroying the Evil Ice. Zee beats Kai right through the top to the surface. before taunting the Magirangers by mocking their courage. They try their aerial attack but to no avail so Zee beats them up and leaves. Whilst Smoky helps the siblings get to the Sea of Lamentation to find Snowgel, Wolzard is seen talking to Bullrates and Zee and trying to tell his comrades that he is there because he wants to see the end of the Surface. Hikaru then arrives and tries to stop the Evil Ice but Zee defeats MagiShine and knocks him out of his armor. Zee then puts his weapon to Hikaru's neck before Bullrates congratulates his partner with his victory. However, when Zee is about to kill Hikaru, the Magirangers arrive and transform into their new Legendary Mode. The Rangers easily defeat the Kings of Hell with their new powers and Bullrates flees and abandons Yeti Zee.
After the failure, Bullrates returns to Infershia and meets Meemy. Bullrates is afraid of facing the Magirangers again but Meemy encourages him to fight the heroes and boosts Bullrates with his spell; restoring his staff and enhancing his powers. Meemy tells Bullrates that his youth is revived but Bullrates is concerned about the consequences of Meemy's spell. Bullrates later attacks Tokyo and encounters the Magirangers and, despite Hikaru's protests, the siblings activate Legend Mode and create a force-field against Bullrates. They then blast him with their individual attacks before finishing him off with their finisher. Later, after his death, Bullrates's soul is teleported to Meemy's newly created Marudeyouna where Meemy tells Bullrates he knew he would fail and had him fight because his creation (Hades Machine Golem) requires a 300 year-old + soul. Memmy blasts Bullrates and Kobold demon's soul is taken into the machine. What was left of Bullrates is destroyed when MagiLegend destroys Golem.
