Hades Inc., also known as the Hades Cult, are the main antagonists of the Beyblade Metal Saga.
In Beyblade: Metal Masters, they are the corporate entity behind HD Academy and Team Star Breaker. Dr. Ziggurat was the organization's public face and used the Beyblade World Championships to gather data for his research on a bey's potential to generate energy. In Beyblade: Metal Fury, Hades Inc. is a clandestine cult dedicated to worshipping King Hades and reviving the God of Destruction Nemesis. Pluto acts as the cult's leader before ceding power to Rago, the child of Nemesis. It is later revealed that the cult was the secret benefactors behind both the Dark Nebula Organization and the corporate wing of Hades Inc. run by Dr. Ziggurat.
After Nemesis' defeat, the remaining assets of Hades Inc. are taken over by Argo Garcia and his family in Beyblade: Shogun Steel. These assets are then used to form a rival organization to the WBBA called DNA. Unbeknownst to the Garcias, DNA was a revival of the Dark Nebula and secretly controlled by Doji, a former agent of Hades Inc.
Biography[]
Years ago, a powerful ruler named King Hades created a bey from a star fragment that would go on to Nemesis, god of destruction. Hades intended on using Nemesis to destroy the world and reform it in his image. His plans were foiled by his brother Zeus and the legendary bladers who used special beys empowered by the star fragment. Despite his defeat, Hades prophesized that Nemesis would return and his plan would been seen through.
Beyblade: Metal Fusion[]
In the present day, Hades' last living descendant Pluto would seek to make the prophecy reality by forming a cult around the ancient King and his bey Nemesis. As part of their master plan, the cult used the Dark Nebula Organization to acquire the Dark Power hidden inside the forbidden bey Lightning L-Drago. Dark Nebula's leader Doji and his protégé Ryuga successfully acquired L-Drago but in doing so found an enemy in Gingka Hagane. Dark Nebula would host the Battle Bladers tournament to find powerful duelists for L-Drago to absorb. Hades Inc's plans ended in failure when Ryuga was overwhelmed by the Dark Power, betrayed Doji, and then lost to Gingka in the tournament's climax.
Beyblade: Metal Masters[]
Later, Hades Inc. would appear as an American corporation headed by Dr. Ziggurat, a neurologist and the manager of Team Star Breaker. He used HD Academy to find and train potential candidates for the Arrangement, a blader enhancement procedure. One of his subjects was a terminally ill boy named Tobey who when given the arrangement, became the powerful blader known as Faust. Ziggurat also used Team Star Breaker to enter the Beyblade World Championships and acquire data on the world's most powerful bladers. With the data from Galaxy Pegasus and Meteo L-Drago, he created Faust's bey Twisted Tempo. Following the end of the Championships, Ziggurat unveiled his plans for Spiral Force, a type of energy generated by Twisted Tempo's spin. Hades Inc's plans would again end in failure when Gingka Hagane's allies and Ryuga destroyed the Spiral Force.
Beyblade: Metal Fury[]
When a new Star Fragment arrives on Earth, Pluto dispatches Johannes to locate the Legendary Bladers whose beys have been empowered by the fragment. Johannes battles with Gingka and his allies on several occassions with his bey Beat Lynx. He soon recruits the Beylin Fist, a splinter group from Beylin Temple led by Bao and the legendary blader Aguma. Johannes also recruits Chris, a legendary blader who works as a mercenary for the highest bidder. Pluto uses his powers to brainwash the legendary blader Dynamis, the guardian of Mist Mountain. Pluto brings Dynamis, Johannes, Chris, and the Beylin First to his temple for a ritual to revive Nemesis. After the three legendary bladers combine their powers, Nemesis is reborn as a prototype Bey. Bao attempts to control it but is instantly rejected. Meanwhile, Doji, who was revealed to have survived his last encounter with Ryuga, locates four individuals in a hidden temple. He subsequently brings the Nemesis bladers Herschel, Keyser, and Cycnus to Pluto's temple, all of whom pledge their loyalty to the cult. The fourth individual is revealed to be Rago whom Pluto recognizes as the child of Nemesis. As a show of his power, Rago immediately takes control of the Prototype Nemesis.
When Gingka's allies arrive at the temple, they are blocked by Johannes and the Beylin Fist. After making their way in, Yuki battles Aguma while Gingka battles the brainwashed Dynamis. Tithi and Kyoya later arrive to battle Aguma and Dynamis respectively while Gingka moves forward to battle Chris. Herschel and Keyser battle with King and Masamune while Cycnus aids Chris. In the end, the three legendary bladers allied with Hades and the Nemesis bladers are all defeated. Gingka finally confront Pluto and Rago who reveal their true intentions for the world. Doji also reveals his survival and explains how the actions of Dark Nebula and Dr. Ziggurat's branch of Hades Inc. were all done to revive Nemesis. Despite the combined powers of the legendary bladers and Ryuga, Rago evolves the prototype Nemesis into Diablo Nemesis. The legendary bladers of the 4 seasons attempt to seal Nemesis away with Zeus' Barrier but Doji's taunts provoke Ryuga into forsaking the Barrier in favor of attacking Nemesis. Rago uses Nemesis' special move which collapses the temple and leaves Gingka's allies incapacitated as the cult's leaders escape.
Dynamis, Chris, and the Beylin Fist accompany Gingka's allies back to the WBBA HQ and subsequently defect from the cult. Elswhere, Ryuga vows revenge against Doji and promises to destroy the god of destruction. Rago, Doji, and Pluto use Diablo Nemesis' power to locate the lost kingdom of King Hades which in turn causes abnormal weather phenomena across the globe. When Gingka's allies locate the source of Nemesis' power, Johannes and the Nemesis Bladers arrive to stop them but are overwhelmed and forced to retreat. Ryuga arrives at the kingdom and challenges Rago. After a long and grueling battle, Ryuga uses his special move Dragon Emperor Life Destructor which causes an explosion that sends Doji falling into the abyss. Despite this, he ultimately fails to stop Nemesis and L-Drago Destructor is defeated by Nemesis' special move Armaggedon just as Gingka's allies arrive. The legendary bladers battle Rago but are overwhelmed by Diablo Nemesis' power. When it seems that all hope is lost, Ryuga awakes and transfers L-Drago's star fragment to Kenta's Sagittario before passing away. Flame Sagittario then evoles into Flash Sagittario to the surprise of Rago and Pluto. The latter launches his bey Firefuse Darkhelm to separate Sagittario from the other legendary bladers, Kenta, now a legendary blader, uses his special move to defeat Darkhelm, sending it into the air where it crashes into the ceiling. The legendary bladers of the 4 seasons attempt to form Zeus' Barrier and seemingly succeed in sealing Nemesis away as the temple begins to collapse. Gingka's allies escape while Rago and Pluto are trapped inside as it explodes.
Gingka's victory is short lived as the final form of Nemesis appears shortly thereafter, having seemingly absorbed Rago and Pluto. The latter reveals that a piece of Firefuse Darkhelm had made a small hole in Zeus' Barrier which in turn allowed Nemesis to escape. Diablo Nemesis easily defeats the legendary bladers, leaving only Gingka and his Cosmic Pegasus. As the world's climate begins to change for the worst, Gingka is empowered by the bey spirt of bladers all over the globe. He uses Pegasus' special move Super Cosmic Tornado to break through the Dark Moon created by Nemesis and directly strikes his massive form. Nemesis, as Rago, cries out into agony and the god of destruction falls into the hole in which he emerged, finally ending his reign of terror. The world's climate returns to normal and with the threat of Nemesis gone, the Legendary bladers go their separate ways.
