~ Hajun preparing to fight Buddha after being reborn. |
Hajun is shown to be serious, relentless, arrogant and confident yet stoic and blunt, contrasting Zerofuku's self-loathing and miserable nature. He looks down on everyone, particularly Buddha, expressing his surprise when God blocked his strike, even if his facial expression did not change. Despite this, Hajun does not hold back against his opponents and attacks at his maximum output until his body is not torn apart. Furthermore, the Demon Lord is willing to tear off his own limbs to use them as weapons when injured.
However, underneath his stoic self, Hajun is actually extremely sadistic and psychopathic, joyfully mocking Buddha for losing an eye against his attack, as well as adding the fact that he meant to go through his head. Whenever he landed a successful hit on his opponent, he would form a wide smirk on his face. He found Buddha's attempts to retaliate against his assault "unbelievably refreshing", calling him an insect. When God has actually injured his forearm and insulted him, Hajun fell into an uncharacteristic anger and started attacking him even fiercer.
He despises former inhabitant of his body, Zerofuku, referring to him as third-rate runt and gladly stating to Buddha that he has completely consumed his consciousness. However, he still uses his catchphrase "Divine Retribution" as a war cry and mocking line for his opponents.
Biography[]
Hajun is an ancient legendary Demon Lord infamous for destroying half of Netherworld/Helheim prior to Hades' rise as a monarch. Hajun would eventually succumb to his own power, resulting in his body collapsing on itself and exploding, leaving no trace of him ever existing and leading to dismissing him as a fairy tale. However, eons later, a powerful God known as Beelzebub eventually found his remains and converted them into a seed, which he planted in God of Misfortune known as Zerofuku, who in turn would split himself into Seven Lucky Gods.
During the Ragnarok Tournament, in which Buddha betrayed Gods to fight for Humanity in the Sixth Round, Seven Lucky Gods would merge back to Zerofuku. Unable to defeat his opponent, however, Zerofuku let go of his hatred for Buddha, only to be consumed by two serpentine dragons that came out of his body, turning him into an egg from which Hajun hatched.
Thus Hajun begins to fight Buddha, indirectly taking Zerofuku's place as a member of the Gods Fighters and representative of the Gods. After extremely long and brutal fight, during which Buddha lost his left eye and got stabbed in the gut, Hajun is finally defeated and killed by Buddha with the technique called Mahapari Nirvana, generated thanks to Völundr with Zerofuku, which bisected his body horizontally and caused him to crumble apart to dust.
Powers and Abilities[]
Demon Physiology: As the most powerful Demon in Helheim, Hajun can surpass the likes of Chiyou and even majority of Valhalla-born Gods. His fight with Buddha left a God with devastating permanent injuries, nearly killing him in the process. At one point in the past, the Demon Lord has even left the Netherworld half-devastated before eventually destroying his own body.
Body Manipulation: Similar to Zeus, Hajun is capable of controling and altering his own body structure to adapt to his opponents' fighting style. Hajun primarily utilizes this ability by enlarging and shapeshifting his forearms into blade weapons, such as axes, swords and even spinning drills. He can also generate biological armor on his skin, hardening his body tissue to better block piercing attacks, as well as control and fashion his severed limbs into weapons. Aside from combat applications, Hajun can also manipulate his blood to stimulate colored clothing.
Demon Strength: Hajun wields an incredible degree of demonic strength, allowing him to compete even with Supreme Gods and create massive shock waves. He is able to wound and rip apart Gods, who all share immunity to man-made weapons, as well as easily shatter Divine Weapons created out of Valkyries and massive boulders with just shock waves of his attacks. His strength clearly surpasses Zerofuku, who was already able to lift and swing his Misery Cleaver at high speed, the size of said weapon had matched Valhalla Arena at the time.
Demon Durability: Hajun's body is physically far more durable and resilient than that of ordinary Demon or God, allowing him to survive massive impacts and devastating blows from Gods. He is immune to conventional and nuclear weapons created by Humanity, being able to be wounded only by an individuals with similar amount of strength or Divine Weapons. He can also effortlessly survive in Helheim, a violent realm filled with bloodthisty Demons and almost no vegetation. Hajun's durability increases upon developing a biological armor, which can withstand and block attacks from next to all weapons Buddha can summon via Turn Around, Six Realms.
Demon Speed: Despite his muscular frame, Hajun is extremely fast and agile in combat with extremely high reaction time, allowing him to dodge almost any attack from the strongest of Gods.
Precognitive Immunity: Being a Demon, Hajun's soul is protected by a coat of darkness, negating Buddha's ability to predict his future actions. However, this natural defense system stops working upon feeling fear.

Trivia[]
- Hajun originates from Buddhist Pantheon, serving as Mara, the personification of the lust and desire, where he tried to stop Buddha from archiving the enlightenment by seducing him through his three daughters.
- Hajun is very similar to Evil Buu from Dragon Ball Z, as they are both black-and-white-eyed shapeshifters and powerful evil creatures that existed dormant for billions of years before resurfacing in modern times. They also have alternative personalities whom they punished for trying redeem themselves, they both look like adult versions of their other personalities, both are highly savage and unpredictable in combat, both have been awakened/resurrected by evil wizards and scientists (Bibidi and Beelzebub), and both required two heroes to "merge" with each other (Goku/Vegeta and Zerofuku/Buddha).
