Haklangr The Bearded is a minor antagonist in God of War Ragnarök, serving as one of the twelve berserkers Kratos must fight.

Biography[]

Haklangr once had an amazing beard in his life, around the time he served Hrólf Kraki. This was how he got his title "the Bearded". He possesses many types of magic, such as poison, which he uses to deal devastating blows, and elemental magic, which he uses to protect himself from Kratos.

Kratos writes this about him in his codex;

"Perhaps in life this "Haklangr the Bearded" had intimidating facial hair. In death, I saw nothing of consequence. If that was where his strength lay, he should have ensured it would accompany his soul in the afterlife. I pity him. Hair is temporary, as are we all."

Appearance[]

Haklangr, like most of the Berserkers, wears a horned helmet, and, like all the berserkers, his skin is a bright fluorescent green, with his skeleton inside.

He wears heavy armour, and uses a giant hammer as his weapon of choice.
