Hakune is a major antagonist in Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest. She is a loyal member of the Moonlight Divinities, which is an elite all-female unit serving the Dragon God Selene. Known as “Hakune of the Snow, Moon, and Flowers,” she embodies elegance and cruelty, hiding deadly power beneath her serene appearance.

She is voiced by Reina Kondō in Japanese and by Giovannie Cruz in English

Appearance

Hakune is a graceful woman with pale features, long icy-blue hair, and a flower hairpiece that reinforces her aesthetic as a snow maiden. She usually wears a japanese yukata and In combat, her attire transforms into a battle form with frozen armor and spikes. Her forehead also resembles a snowflake pattern.

Personality

Hakune usually maintains a calm and soft-spoken persona, rarely raising her voice. But beneath this serenity lies a cruel streak, especially toward male opponents, whom she targets with sadistic creativity. She delights in overwhelming foes with illusions and freezing techniques, showing little empathy for those caught in her icy grip.

Powers and Abilities

Freezing – Hakune’s main signature art which allows her to weaponize the very concept of freezing. She doesn’t just immobilize opponents physically, but also locks down their energy flow — sealing Magic Power, Curse Power, and Spirit Arts alike. Victims trapped by her frost are left helpless, stripped of both mobility and abilities.

• Snow-Woman – Hakune can conjure eerie snow dolls that resemble alluring women. These spectral creations are especially effective against male opponents, luring them into distraction before she strikes with lethal precision.
• Diamond Effect – Surrounding herself with countless crystalline shards and snowflakes, Hakune unleashes a storm that encases targets in diamond-like ice. This technique is as beautiful as it is deadly, overwhelming foes with sheer volume and cold intensity.
• Snow Wave – Channeling raw force through her arms, Hakune releases a sweeping surge of snow that crashes into her opponents like an avalanche, burying them beneath its freezing weight.
• Mugen Setsugekka – One of Hakune’s cruelest abilities, this technique engulfs her enemy in a whirlwind of snow that not only freezes their body but also traps their consciousness. Victims are lulled into a dreamlike sleep where reality and illusion blur, leaving them completely defenseless.

• Diamond Titan – By gathering and compressing surrounding snow, Hakune summons a massive one-eyed, horned giant forged of living ice. The Titan fights as her avatar of destruction, though its existence is tied to her own body — if the Titan is shattered, Hakune herself suffers catastrophic injuries.
