Biography[]
Hammond Litte was a European diplomat and prime minister who was the former CEO of the World Health Organization (WEO) and a scientist before becoming an figure in the automobile industry by selling vehicles across Europe, Asia, and North America to swiftly convince politicians about the global trading policies for the economy. Hiring several of Bond's enemies including Whisper, Jaws, and General Georgi Koskov, Hammond Litte decides to stages a scheme by distracting Bond himself, telling him to rescue his daughter Cherise Litte from a organization of terrorists using his Aston Martin D85.
In secret, Hammond Litte attacked a NATO ship via ordering his henchmen to do so in the Labrador Sea at the South of Greenland to steal the equipment inside containing missiles, shields, GPS technology, and a Q equipped BMW 75OiL that was supposed to go to Hailfax, Canada, killing all inside, before getting Dr. Melody Chase, a famous virologist from the CDC to question and interrogate her. He then has two of them steal a deadly and lethal smallpox virus from Moscow before filling all his automobiles with the virus by placing it in the carbon exhaust tank.
When Bond goes to meet Jack Wade from the CIA on his next mission in New York City, Hammond Litte planted a bomb inside of Bond's Aston Martin D85 while he was directly in the middle of the city and calls him, warning that if he should try to defuse or slow down the car, the bomb will go off and kill anyone nearby, saying that he's sparing Bond from the grim fate that the rest of the world will suffer, mocking Bond that his license to kill does not include innocent civilians. Bond luckily disposed his car into the Hudson River in time, but not before Hammond Litte states that he can't be beaten at his own scheme.
After completing numerous other tasks, Bond eventually discovers that the mastermind behind the plot is Hammond Litte himself, him sending Bond to save Cherisse being a distraction tactic to make sure he didn't discover the freighter as he states in Louisiana when Bond gets kidnapped. However, Bond manages to break free, destroying Jaws' boat but not before Cherise manages to manipulate Sheriff Pepper to attack Bond while Hammond Litte shows up, retrieves Jaws, and kidnaps Dr. Melody Chase once more to go to his underwater base containing his laboratory.
Heading back to New York, Bond downloads data and files from four limousines with his BMW 28, and he discovers Hammond Litte's true goals to unleash the smallpox virus across the atmosphere via their exhaust system through the atmosphere to infect those who manage to buy the vehicles either by their skin or respiratory systems to destroy all their internal organs and kill off most of humanity within a week of infection, forcing the wealthiest world leaders and organizations to bow before him as he will dominate over them once he hands out the cure/antidote only to them. Bond then goes to Hammond Litte's underwater base inside his private island, managing to retrieve Dr. Melody Chase and four antidotes, and destroying the underwater base with his daughter still inside, thus killing her instantly.
Hammond Litte decides to flee into a submarine and then into his personal airship miles away from where Bond is at which contains the activation codes for the vehicles' global positioning systems via a satellite transmitter that Hammond Litte plans to release with a key to signal the satellite. When Bond finally finds him, Hammond Litte tries flying away and warns Bond to stay back lest he release the virus early, taunting and arrogantly laughing at Bond that he will not be denied victory. But Bond manages to destroy the plane and it's engines with Hammond Litte still inside as it crashes near a paddock, killing him and foiling his plot to destroy most of humanity in the process.
