Actually... I like it here.
~ Han's betrayal.

Han Solo is a supporting antagonist in the 2024 Disney+ miniseries LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. He is an evil version of his canon self who sold out the Rebels to the Empire.

He was voiced by Ross Marquand.

Personality[]

Han is, to his own admission, a heartless scoundrel. While it's implied he may have been a true hero at some point, he seems to have shedded all of his redeeming qualities by the time of the series. He now only fights for himself, doing whatever it takes to preserve his own life in the galaxy. Like his counterpart, Han is very charismatic, as he was able to perfectly hide his alliance with the Empire.

Han is in love with Leia Organa and is deeply resentful over the fact that Greedo won her heart and not him, so much so to the point where it may have even drove him to villainy in the first place.

Appearance[]

Han retains the same body of his cannon counterpart. He is a traditionally handsome man with white skin, prominent cheek bones, and messy brown hair. However, he know has the outfit of Greedo rather than his iconic white shirt and black vest. Thus, Han wears a light blue jacket and pants of the same color. He also has a dark orange vest and a brown belt with a holster on the right side.

History[]

Han Solo served as the partner of fellow smuggler Greedo. At some point, they met the Rebel alliance, where Han fell in love with the Rebel leader: Leia Organa. However, Leia fell in love with Greedo rather than Han, which Han attributes to Greedo taking his shot before Han took his own. This event made Han deeply resentful of his now former friend.

In the present day, Han and Greedo were tasked with flying a squad of Jedi to Degoba. However, Han's envy got the best of him, and he secretly sabotaged the Jedi ship and transmitted the Jedi's coordinates to the Sith lord Darth Devastator. After landing on Degoba, Han's team attempted to break a group of Rebels out of an imperial prison. However, Han revealed his true colors, shooting a flare to alert the Clone Troopers to their location.

Once the Rebels were captured, Han started arguing with a Clone Trooper when he found out that Darth Devastator left the planet before paying him. The Rebel prisoners were able to catch the Troopers off guard by pretending that Yoda was sick, allowing them to start a riot, which in turn served as a distraction for Yesi and Greedo's escape. The others didn't make it, however, and Han told the Rebels that their organization was finished. Unfortunately for Han, Yesi and Greedo arrived with the stolen Dark Falcon, forcing Han and the Clones to begrudgingly surrender.

Trivia[]

  • Han seems to be a foil to his original version. Both of them were scoundrels who only cared about money, never once stopping to think about the people they hurt. However, the original Han eventually gave up his self-serving ways to become a hero, while this one didn't. Thus, this Han represents what the heroic Han Solo would have become had he never redeemed himself.
  • Han mentions he's sick of living in Degoba, which could imply the planet served as his base of operations ever since he planned on betraying the Rebels. This could mean that his betrayal was years in the making.
