Han Yu Kim (Korean/Chosŏn'gŭl: 김한유, Gim Han-yu) is a major antagonist in the 2003 video game True Crime: Streets of L.A.. He is a corrupt general in the North Korean army who was running a counterfeiting operation with Russian mob boss Rocky.

He was voiced by the late Mako Iwamatsu, who also voiced Aku from Samurai Jack.

Biography[]

Born on August 14th, 1951, he is martial artist expert in tang soo do, taekwondo, karate, wing chun, hapkido, wushu, y ninjutsu. Kim had set up a counterfeiting operation with ex-KGB agent, Rasputin "Rocky" Kuznetsov while Ancient Wu's triads did the laundering.

However, Rocky later became corrupt and decided to keep the money for himself. The general then planned to have Rocky and his associates killed and retrieve the stolen money.

Endings[]

Bad Ending[]

In the bad ending, Nick confronts general Kim at the top of a high rise building. After a last battle, Kim falls off the building to his death rather than turn himself in.

Average Ending[]

Though not fought, Kim makes an appearance in the average ending.

Good Ending[]

In the good ending, Kim sent a team of his commandos to take out Rocky, but Nick Kang kills them all. Shortly after Rocky's death, Kim shows up before Nick, explaining about the counterfeiting operation before engaging him in a final battle. However, Kim is killed in the ensuing battle.
