Poison Flower Ninja Hanasakkadoushi (毒花忍者ハナサッカ道士 Dokubana Ninja Hanasakkadōshi, 5, 25) is a mimor antagonist of Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger, appearing in Episode 5 as the primary antagonist. He was a member of Jakanja's Chuuzubo's Ninja Corps and was sent and tasked by Tau Zant to destroy the Earth and Hurricanegers and wipe out humanity with his plant control abilities in order to awake the evil cosmic force, known as It, that would help Tau Zant take over the universe. Also, Hanasakkadoushi was the final monster whom the Hurricanegers faced before fighting and facing the Gouraigers, the duo of evil Rangers.
Hanasakkodoushi was voiced by Tomohiro Tsuboi.
Biography[]
Hanasakkadoushi was first seen in Tokyo at night when he led the group of Magerappa and ordered them to put seeds in the ground. The Hurricanegers arrived and started fighting Magerappa, but the vine rope of Hanasakkodoushi pulled Yousuke to him. The plant ninja attacked the trio and successfully defeated the heroes, and then retreated with his Magerappa soldiers.
Later, Sensei Mugensai decided to teach the Hurricanegers by using the special tasks and these tasks were cleaning and repairing the bath house. However, Ypusuke refused to do this task, declaring to Sensei Hinata that he was a ninja, not a cleaner. This action led Yousuke to quarrel with his mentor and Sensei kicked Yousuke out of the Hurricanegers.
Later, at Jakanja's base Centipede, Sargain and Chuuzubo argued and thought about their plan of taking over the city by using the plant seeds that were put into the ground. Flowers were already grown and Hanasakkodoushi started the next stage of his plan. Meanwhile, Kouta and Nanami met in the bath house and found a pipe that led them to the basement. There they found the place where Hanasakkodoushi residented and kept his plants. However, the pipe wrapped around the Rangers and the heroes were unable to cut the vines. Oboro tried to connect the Rangers, but the bulb grew larger and so Mugensai connected Yousuke and summoned the HurricaneRed to help and save his friends. Plants grow all over a bridge where Yousuke is. The plants de-transform the duo.
Meanwhile, the plant in Hurricaneger headquarters grew and attacked and captured Mugensai and Yousuke tried to destroy the plant with his Dry Gun, but his weapon was useless against the mutated plant. The plant held sensei-hamster in his clutches and Oboro told Yousuke to use the new function on his blade. Yousuke cut the plant roots and destroyed the plant. This action freed Kouta and Nanami and Yousuke went to help his friends.
The trio met and fought the plant ninja. Hanasakkadoushi used his vines and wrapped them around the Hurricanegers, while the two enigmatic warriors watched from the distance and thought they would see the Hurricanegers's end. However, Hurricanegers faked their death by using the decoy straws and then attacked and destroyed the monster with their Dry Gadged.
Wendinu made the plant ninja grow giant with a scroll in her cannon. Senpuujin was formed and quickly turned into Harrier. The Hurricaneger Robo performed a spinning finisher ad rolled over the monster. Senpuujin hurried down and pulled the lion mane to attack and destroy the plant ninja with the Sword Slasher.
Hanasakkadoushi was one of five Chunin resurrected by Vampiyan, Hanasakkadoushi attacked Osaka, halted by HurricaneYellow until he withdraw to fight Vamp Iyan, whose death forced Hanasakkadoushi back to the afterlife.
