Hang Zang-Ching (in Japanese: ハン・ザンチン ,Han Zan Chin) is a fictional character in the manga and anime series, Shaman King. He is one of Hao's followers and part of Team "Tsuki-Gumi".
Appearance[]
Hang is an obese Chinese man, with very long eyelashes. He is shirtless in which his large gut is exposed, and wears black kung fu pants and is seen brandishing a pair of black sunglasses. Perhaps his most distinguishable feature, is a large red symbol that is tattooed on his body.
When in public, he wears a dark green Chinese military suit with a red scarf and hat.
History[]
He was born in Shanghai into a family of doctors. His grades were great, but he had a terrible complex about his weight. He once wanted to become a famous pop idol, but due to him being overweight, he was never given a chance. He joined Hao because he wanted to create a world where physical appearance wasn't important at all. While the group were ordered to deal with a fleet of human warships they wonder if they are doing the right thing. After both Peyote Diaz and Mohamed Tabarsi voice their doubt about Hao, Hang Zang-Ching ask them to stop because they scare him he is suddenly killed by Peyote's O.S. "Grande Phantasma". Zang-Ching is seen in one of the cars aboard the Soul Train inside the Great Spirit, saying that they also wanted to ask Hao for something. Several years later, Hang Zang-Ching, together with Tao Ren and Bill Burton, build the Raitei Group a large electronics manufacturing company. After the tournament Hang Zang-Ching, Bill and Brocken Meyer, travels with with the current heir Tao Mento the Funbari Inn.
